blood dripped onto the white marble sink, staining it a dark red color. his fingers lightly grazed the carved in letter, still glowing a angry orange-red. it was a fresh cut. it was that deep though, so it would heal a bit quicker. but it was a reminder that he was after them.

patton wrapped the bandaid around his arm, humming softly. william poked at the carved letter, patiently waiting for patton to patchup his other cut. william ran his index fingwr ovwe the letter, hissing softly.

patton snapped his attention to william and frowned. "will, stop that. you'll just make the cut worse."

will turned to patton, his eyes dark. "it doesn't matter. after a few days, more cuts and bruises will be covering my body." will blurted out, no emotion laced in his voice. just dull.

patton's own eyes darken. "shut it, will. stop talking to yourself like that."

will gave a small smile. "didn't you tell that to him?"

patton gave a low growl, yet his eyes flashed with sadness. will frowned, his small smile dropping. "sorry, i crossed the line. i shouldn't of have said that. am' sorry."

patton shooked his head softly, a small smile curled up on his lips. "its alright."

william looked at the carved letter. a V.

a letter for virgil.
