The doorbell rang and I sprinted down the stairs excited of what awaited me at the door.

"Ahhh Lexi" I said excitedly and pulled her into a hug. "Oh my god Kai I missed you so much" she hugged me back.

After weeks and weeks Alexis had finally returned from her little vacay to Colorado. I was so excited.

"Come on" I told her and we walked back upstairs. "So how was Colorado? Was it okay?" I asked her.

She sat on the floor with helping me finish packing. "It was good. I feel really good." She smiled.

"Well I hope that means you won't be leaving again anytime soon." I asked. "No I won't. I'm here for good." She said in smile.

"Yay" I put my hands up in excitement. Today I was moving out of the house, I've lived in the same house for my whole life. It was time for a change. I hadn't told my brothers about me moving out yet, I didn't know how they'd take it.

"Can you take that box downstairs for me?" I asked Alexis. She stood up and grabbed the box "Yea sure"

"Kai we back" Taevion yelled up the stairs. "Damn it" I said to myself. "I thought they weren't going to back till later. I'm sorry Lex" I stood up.

"It's fine" She shook her head. I heard hen coming up the stairs. "Kai you heard us" Taevion said as he approached my room.

"Oh Lexi. I ain't know you were back" Taevion said surprised. She faked a smile "I just got back today."

He nodded his head. "Anyways. I thought you guys were coming back later." I broke the silence.

"Change of plans. What the hell you doing up in here? You going somwhere?" Taevion asked.

I looked around my room at all the boxes and swallowed "I'm moving out." I tucked my hands in my pockets.

"Moving out?" Da'rion snapped his head. I groaned "Lex can you take that box. I'll be right behind you." She nodded her head and continued downstairs.

The boys both entered my room. "Moving out? Since when? Why you ain't holla at us about it?" Taevion asked.

"Because I wanted it to be a surprise. So surprise" I did jazz hands. "This ain't funny. I'm serious Kailiah. I know you like to convince yourself that you grown but you still could've given us a heads up." He rambled.

I mentally rolled my eyes. "Okay okay. I should've im sorry but I think it's time for me to move out. I'm twenty years old Taevion. Plus main reason I stayed was because you guys were locked up." I shrugged.

"Well if wanna move out. I support you sis." Da'rion dangled his arm around me neck. I smiled and kissed his cheek "Always been the supportive brother."

Taevion smacked his teeth. "Whatever. Yo ass wanna move out and pay your own bills. Go ahead. I ain't gonna stop you." He said salty.

I rolled my eyes "Mhmm salty much." I said in a laugh. "Oh one more thing" I got from under D's arm.

Da'rion crosses his arms and leaned on the wall while Taevion nodded his head waiting for me to continue. I was scared to let the next few words leave my mouth, because I don't know what they were going to say. But it's now or never.

"I want to take Kaliyah with me when I leave." I said nervously. They both looked at eachother and slightly chuckled. "Hell nah" D shook his head.

"Why not? She wants to live with me I already talked to her about it." I shrugged.

"You talked to the seven year old about leaving but not us. Nice Liah" Taevion said.
