Hiccups poem

I remember when i was a child
My life wasnt so mild
I was the outcast
And never to join the scout grass

But something had changed me
Delivered me to this
My eyes are so sullen
My heart has been broken

"You have this disease" the doctor spoke sad
And my mother burst tears, i just wanted to laugh

Absurd and confusing
My friends all persuade me
To take a walk on the beach
And gleam over the sights i see

Take some time to realise
That life is still strong
Take some pictures of love
Dont keep your pictures of blood

Old and new
What is there to do
His beautiful blue eyes
My degrading heart wants to fly

"Up on the shelf, theres an album with pictures,
come sit with me to laugh, at my old photographs"
