Hey guys! I'm finally back after a few months:) I'll try to start posting a chapter per week if I have the time. Im going to try and make them as long as I can. Enjoy:)

Olivia's POV-

7:30 am the next morning.

This is the second time I've been late to work this week. I knew I should've let Alana walk to school instead of driving her. Maybe I really am just a little overprotective sometimes. You really can't blame me. I'm a lieutenant on a sex crimes precinct.

I walk into the precinct with hot coffee from a nearby cafe in my hand. It seems super busy today. I never got any alerts from my detectives.

"Hey Liv, can I talk to you for a sec?" Fin came walking up to me when I was about to enter my office.

"Yeah, sure. Come in." I reply.

I sit down and set my stuff off to the side as Fin sits in a chair in front of my desk.

"Look, I don't want to hype you up, but don't go into one of those protective modes or moods when Alana is around-" he started.

"-that always means this is a bad case," I reply quickly. "-like, a really bad case." I say very seriously.

"A little bit," Fin goes back to what he was saying.

I roll my eyes and don't look for a second because I'm worried, but I let him carry on.

"But Liv you gotta get used to it. There's people out in the world that need you, no matter how horribly they've been treated. You've been working here for almost twenty years." He gives me a small lecture about my overprotective self. He's right, but I'll never admit it.

"But anyway we have some suspected traffickers and a very mysterious "leader". It seems like they've done many crimes before because they know what they're doin. They don't leave evidence lying around. Now, this mysterious person is supposedly making people do all of these crazy things through threats." He says as he's slamming papers down on my desk. "They're texting people anonymously about the victims darkest secrets. they're trying to delete all of their traces through the computer they're using, we can't get an IP address yet, but we're trying. That's all we know for now, but we feel like these could elevate into something. They're mostly targeting teenage girls." He started to talk more slowly at the end.

"So we're mainly looking at a stalker with a possible background of rape and forcing teenage girls to break the law." I get up and start walking to my door.

"Im sorry, Liv. I know dis is gonna be hard for you, but you're the strongest person I know." Fin said sympathetically.

Even though I've been working at SVU for nineteen years, I've had Alana for fourteen of those years. I always act like I'm new when we have hard hitting/emotional cases. I always have a very protective side for my daughter, which when you see it, you would think I'm the most bloodcurdling person in the world.

Alana's POV-

After school, 3:00 pm.

I arrive home, excited to meet up with my best friend, Hannah. We've been best friends since 5th grade, we've always had a very unique connection.

I throw down my mint blue Jansport backpack and I grab my lanyard with my thin Vera Bradley wallet, and my keys attached to it, and of course my phone is glued to my hand.

We decided to meet up at a cafe that has really sweet and heart-warming coffee. I go to the kitchen to grab some water when I see a letter from my mom on the counter.

I'll be home a little late, you can go out with your friends but be in the house by 8:30 tonight. Love you!

I get notes or text messages like this at least once a week. Her words are practically stamped in my brain. They're normally just rearranged. I text my mom a quick message and I leave the house for the cafe.

Hannah was gone practically the whole entire summer, we only FaceTimed and I haven't really seen her around high school the past few weeks. She was in California visiting her dad for most of the summer.

I stroll into the cozy cafe and I find Hannah sitting at one of the first tables as I smile and speed walk over to her.

"Oh my gosh I missed you so much!" She says before we both squeeze each other we can't even breathe or talk.

"I missed you too! How was California?" I asked excited.

"Boring, I hate my dads girlfriend, and we really didn't do much," she said in a bored way.

"Here," she handed me a big cup iced caramel coffee with milk. My absolute favorite.

"No, you didn't." I honestly sounded shocked considering she never buys me anything.

"Yes!" She exclaims.

"I love you so much!" I say hugging her again. You may call us basic and white, but we never really care.

"How are you? What's new?" I ask, actually really interested.

"There's absolutely no news from me. My life is boring and I'm failing everything as always. Anything new from you?"

"Well..." I started

"What?" Hannah says quickly with a smile slapping both her hands down on the table. She knew what was up.

"So Andrew Nickelson emailed me asking me out of the blue on a freaking date," I said shocked at my own self.

"ANDREW NICKELSON ASKED YOU ON A DATE?!" She whisper exclaimed. "The most popular guy in the whole school?"

"Yeah, it was so weird, I've only talked to him like twice. I know many many people but I never talk to him." I whisper back.

"Well what did you say" Hannah asked.

"Well I was going to ask you for advice in what to say."

"Do you really think my relationships go that well? I've never had a decent boyfriend who treated me right. I really feel like you should watch out for him, Alana. He may be the most popular kid in high school, but he's  not the best news." She replied like I should've known better.

I really didn't know what to do. I've never had a boyfriend, I have a lot of friends who are boys, but they treat you more like a sister instead of someone they would date. Maybe Hannah's right, maybe I should stay away from him.

After Hannah and I's meet up, I walk along the streets of New York to buy some thin flare pens for note taking from a small office supply store. I payed $4.49 for my pack, put them in my backpack and head on home.

I get home around 5:30 and start on my piles and piles of homework saved on my computer.

The only thing on my mind is Andrew. I want to walk away from him, but I just can't. I'm so eager to email him back. He's been on my mind since he wrote his to me. I mean he really could just be interested in me, but he is going to be eighteen soon, and I'll be fifteen. So that would be an illegal relationship cause you have to be two years apart at the most if you were a minor and you were dating an adult in New York State. Just a little law fact for ya, thanks to mom.

I don't want to, but I have to. I have to email him back at some point. I'm just going to wing it. I mean how dangerous can emailing a peer be?

Andrews POV-

Alana hasn't replied to me yet. Im starting to get worried. If I want a girl I get her. She's the most  hottest girl in school, she even beats all of the senior chicks. I want her talking right to my face, I need her breathing down my neck. I need her body close to mine. I need to get her somehow.
