You couldn't tell anybody. No matter how much you were dying to tell them, you couldn't even mentioned it. Not even to his best friends, no one was supposed to know you were dating Kris. The only ones who knew were you two and the manager. Whom recommended to keep it as a secret for the time being. Of course, you two had agreed but you never imagine how hard it would be, to keep the secret from the boys. Specially when you all were so close.
"So.. Y/N.. I've been wondering for a while.." Baekhyun stared, as you all were having dinner. "Hm wondering what, Baekhyun?" You expected him to say something stupid. Guess you expected wrong. "You are very pretty... aren't you interested in dating someone.. maybe... one of us?" If it weren't because Baekhyun loved to bug people, you would swear that chuckle he gave you meant something like I know you are dating Kris. For a moment you stopped breathing, specially since the all the boys were staring at you now, waiting for an answer. Instead of looking at Kris, the one who you were actually dating, you stared at Chanyeol, trying to bluff a little. Distract them all from the real thing. "I guess..." You started, giving them a small smile. "I haven't given it much thought but... maybe I would date one of you.... who knows" The rest of the night continued with Baekhyun demanding to know who that person would be, and Chen and Sehun deciding it would be one of them. because who wouldn't want to date us? But you couldn't help to notice, that he was staring more than usual at you. As if he were trying to memorize every detail of your face, as if he could read your heart just by staring into your eyes. It made you feel a little nervous, specially because your Kris was sitting next to him. So if you wanted to exchange some glances with Kris, you would have to look at him too. Chanyeol.
You heard a knock on your door. "Ignore it He told you, pressing you on the wall. You heard another knock, your eyes scanned the room until they reached the door. The lock wasn't on. "It's no one important" He whispered into your ear, making you flush. "Say... Y/N... do you like me?" You stared at the tall boy in front of you. His cherry lips were too close to yours, you could feel his breathe on your skin. His hands pressing against the wall, caged you between him and it. There was no way you could run away from that situation. Everything had happened too fast that the moment you realized Chanyeol was holding you. "Or... should I give up on you" You wanted to tell him, tell him to stop but you couldn't. You liked him, but not the way he wanted you to. But you couldn't tell him that either, that would only bring more questions. Why not? Is there someone else? Someone I know? Who? "Why are you so quiet?" He whispered into your ear, nibbling your earlobe a little. He was really close, even when you hands were between you and his chest, trying to push him away. "Chan.. I don't think this is.. you should stop" "But... I thought you liked me. You don't?" For a moment it seemed like a ray of sadness crossed his face, which vanished in a second. The fresh scent of his cologne distracted you from noticing his right hand positioning on your waist. He knew he had some sort of effect on you. For a second he made you hesitate and that was enough for him to know, you wouldn't mind him kissing you. Or so he thought. He didn't know it was not him who you were picturing in front of you, it was his best friend whom you barely were alone with. "I don't even remember when was the last time I kissed..." you thought out loud. Big mistake. "Shall I fix that?" Chanyeol chuckled, grabbing your chin gently, rising your face slowly.
"Fix what?" It was then when you realized what was going on. Those two words hard woken you up from your little day dream. Had brought you back to reality, to Chanyeol's arms. Kris, Kris was standing in the room, the door open. "Kris.. this isn't..." you started "Why don't you leave? We were in the middle of something" Chanyeol interrupted you, clearly ignoring the angry expression that laid on Kris' face. You begged Kris would leave, and let you take care of it. Not that you were making a good job but one way or another you would stop Chanyeol. It's not like you really wanted to kiss him, but if that meant keeping Kris' secret safe, you would not hesitate in doing it.
But Kris didn't think like that. Kris didn't care if he had to reveal his secret just to keep other men away from you. "Why don't you get away from my girl?!"
The whole world stopped for a moment. Chanyeol froze, you froze, even the boys outside the room froze. A storm was about to begin. "Your... your what?" Confused, Chanyeol walked a few steps back. "You heard me Chanyeol. My, girl." "Kris.. don't-" you started "It's okay Y/N. He has to know.. you are mine" He looked furious. You knew that if it weren't for the fact that they were best friends, Kris would have already punched him.
You took a big breathe and thanked that Chanyeol had stepped away. He was out of danger. Or so you thought before he started laughing, laughing in Kris' face. "So.. you two are dating? You are bluffing" "Does it look like I am?" Kris was trying so hard to keep himself in control but both boys were already face to face. Too close to avoid a punch, if one of them decided to start a fight. "Guys please.. don't-" It was useless, they weren't paying attention to you anymore. "If she is your girl.. then I feel sorry for her" "What did you say Chanyeol?" Kris' voice was threatening. "If it were me, I wouldn't keep it as a secret. I would kiss her every day, every night, every minute and every second just to make sure others know she's mine" "Back off Chanyeol, this is a fight you won't win"
Chanyeol shook his head, and walked to the door. "Fine, I'll leave" But before he did, he turned at looked at you. "I'm sorry Y/N. I didn't know... but that doesn't change anything" You stopped breathing again, knowing that if Chanyeol said something wrong Kris would definitely go after him. "I like you and just because he thinks he's worthy of you... I'm not giving up. Because I think otherwise..."
