"I'm freaking the fuck out." penelope said breathlessly. she had already met zach and it had gone wonderfully. his sarcastic personality completely contrasted his anxiety ridden character on his show, but meshed well with penelope's blunt personality. but now she was about to meet jack's mother, sisters, & step-father.
"she'll love you, okay? dont worry." jack reassured, grabbing penelope's hand and walking into the restaurant.
she waited behind jack breathing deep breaths as she watched him hug his family. this was important. she had to make a lasting impression and penelope's mind was racing a million miles a minute. jack turned and grabbed penelope's hand giving her a soft smile which immediately relaxed her.
"guys, i want you all to meet penny." penelope's cheeks immediately reddened and she playful pushed jack lightly.
"hello, mrs. stanford." penelope subtly wiped her hands on her skirt and stuck her hand out to shake with kirstin. she gave her a bright smile and brought her in for a mom hug, one that penelope craved.
she turned to his step-father and introduced herself, shaking hands with him before turning to his sisters. she found her self joking with ava and isla before the youngest ran off to her mother and ava answered a phone call.
the oldest of the avery-stanford children had a stern glare printed amongst her face, which immediately made penelope anxious yet again.
"don't hurt him."
"i dont plan on it." sydnie smiled at penelope, and she let out a deep breath.
"how much do you like him."
"a lot. way too much for almost two weeks of dating."
