I could hear my name being yelled out but my body couldn't respond, it was too busy being crushed by the machine hoard, yet I still try my best to retaliate. My small sword is still in my hand so I try knocking off any machines that are in range but it's still no use. Never could I imagine being in a situation where I couldn't fight back. I feel utterly helpless in my dire situation.

"5F hold on!" I hear the same familiar voice call out my name as the weight on my chest starts to get gradually lighter. The owner of the voice is practically grabbing the machines and chucking them to the side. "5F are you ok?" Anemone was frantic as she asked with a look of worry drawn on her face and concern in her eyes.

I had no time to answer as she pulled me to my feet and we ran. The machines didn't give us time for a proper reunion as they swung everything they had at us. We dodged the orbs being shot at us and made our way to the exit as fast as we could. We didn't have the strength or resources to continue on fighting. Oddly enough they didn't seem to follow us out of the clearing. Part of me was surprised Anemone came out of her hiding spot to help me, seeing as I'm practically a stranger and all. I knew she was following me to see what my mission entailed but I didn't think she would reveal herself to save a worthless life like my own.

We stopped running and I turned my attention to the elder android. "Anemone what are you doing here?" I know she just saved my life and all but she could have gotten herself hurt and this was my mission. If she wanted to be a hero so bad she should have just asked to be transferred to a YoRHa unit body. I'm sure they would take her with open arms seeing as her and the Commander know each other.

"No thank you for saving your sorry ass? You know I could have just let you d-" she started to speak sternly but was cut off by my glare. "You could have gotten seriously injured. You were not authorized to be on this mission in the first place." I tried to remain calm as I spoke but on the inside I was enraged at her ignorant behavior. Her eyebrows raised slightly and her eyes shot away from mine in slight guilt. I let out a deep growl and clench my fist in anger, my eyes narrowing but they quickly go soft again as I see her reaction. I shouldn't have raised my voice at her but I couldn't help but be mad she deliberately put herself in harm's way for me. I'm a replaceable unit but there is only one Anemone. I just sigh and motion her to follow me, which she does without hesitation "I'm going to escort you back to the resistance camp and see if I can get some repairs".

She look at me with an emotion I can't quite decipher. "What about finding the rouge?" I knew she would ask that. "You can't just let them have the time to get away." she urges me, worry once again clouding her eyes. It seems like all she does is worry for others. I can tell she is nervous about this mission and her knowing next to nothing, I don't blame her. In a way she should be worried.

"I'll leave as soon as I can but for now I need to get you back to the camp and some of my parts need to be fixed or replaced. She gave me a look of understanding and we both kept quiet on the way back. Other than a few machines, there were no disturbances until we got to the camp. Apparently Anemone hadn't told everyone in the camp that she was leaving to keep her "mini mission" of spying on me a secret so there had been a small panic while she was gone. Luckily the few androids that she did tell were able to keep the peace until we got back. "Anemone! Welcome back." the resistance androids cheered as we walked back into the camp. "We were so worried when we had noticed you were mission."

Anemone scratched the back of her neck sheepishly. "I'm sorry for worrying all of you. I assure you I will be here for a while. My friend here got damaged while protecting me. Could someone find the twins to fix her up?" she announced to the forming crowd around us. I was confused as to why she said I saved her when it was really the other way around, but I went with it regardless. A resistance member lead me over to a small nook in the camp. Inside said nook were a few medical beds, some filled cabinets, and a pair of red headed twins.

Both androids may have looked very similar at first glance but the way they held themselves indicated they were very different entities. One had a delicate glow with her soft green eyes and somewhat plump cheeks. She stood tall with long, straight locks of raspberry hair that went down to about mid back, her bangs almost covering her eyes completely. She wore a white jacket that cascaded down her body and stopped at the knee, covering the top of her red pants that hugged tightly around her hips. On her knees were black pads that matched her black, lace-up boots. The android next to her had on the same outfit, the only difference being her long wavy hair and stern look radiating in her emerald eyes.

"Hello!" the straight haired beauty called out to me " you must be the YoRHa android Anemone sent over to get repaired. Im Popola and this is my sister Devola. We'll fix you up in no time at all." there was a twinge of excitement in Popola's voice as she got ready to work on my repairs. Her sister, however, I could not say the same. Devola, as I was told her name was, did not look to pleased that she had to help repair a complete stranger. I could understand why she felt that way though. The twins were a set of androids that could no longer trust anyone but themselves. After the years of guilt and the hardships I'm sure they endured, it's only right that Devola is protective of her sister. It's her nature to be sceptical of anyone that could harm either of them.

I walk over to one of the medical beds and sit down so they can examine my damage. Popola hooked up a few wires to my arms and head while Devola worked some medical machines to read the data. "It seems that your vitals are ok but we need to make some repairs to yours direct interface. Nothing big though so don't worry." Devola spoke up. She walked over to a drawer and pulled out some tools and replacement parts to fix me with. "Please try your best not to move. We want to make these new parts look as much like the original as possible." Popola said and she started to work on who-knows-what on my back.

My repairs took about two hours but I felt much better once they were done. The twins were even nice enough to replace my worn out arms too. I felt good as new and ready to get back to my current mission. I thanked the twins with promise of repayment, which granted me a smile from Popola and an indifferent wave from Devola. I made my way over to the access point on the other end of the camp. The androids in the camp still the same as the last time I visited. Some at shops, others just hanging around, even the weird masked android was still sitting in the same spot, now accompanied by a female masked android. I started to wonder what it would be like to live in a place like this. It would probably be pretty fun, hanging around interesting people or getting to explore with friends. A friend was not something I was accustomed to. I was a F-type YoRHa unit, I had no time for silly and insignificant things like friends.

Suddenly my bot started going off indicating that I was receiving a transmission from the bunker. Once accepting the call, the operators worried face filled the screen. "5F! This is an emergency mission. Units 2B and 9S are being attacked by a goliath class machine. I need you to head over to the factory right away." urgency was evident in her voice. "I'm sending you the coordinates to their current position. You should see the marker I've placed on your map now." the second I saw the marker I started to run in its direction. "I was heading there anyways. I'll give my assistance as soon as possible." the transmission ended. I ran over to the access point and typed in the factory's location as fast as I could. I access point started up and my physical body melted away, being sent to the location where I will fight for my life.
