Paul was lying in bed with his guitar, daydreaming. He strummed and started to sing, "Imagine me and you, I do I think about you day and night.."

John's sexy face was the only image in Paul's mind.

He then laughed because he thought his song was rediculous. (Later on he would sell the song to some other musician).

In the house next door, John was banging some girl. It was one of his favorite hobbies.

Paul was secretly jealous of every girl John was with, but knew he couldn't say anything. What would he think of it? Would he leave the band? Paul wasn't about to ruin anything, yet part of him really wanted to just say it.

Yet through all of the walls between them, Paul could hear the banging on them at John's house. Also reminding Paul that it was not him.

John thought of Paul more as a brother than a lover. They had met when they were both 15, while John was struggling with his family. John and Paul coped about the deaths of their mothers, and lord was it painful. Although, deep down inside John might have had small feelings for Paul.

But John always shook it off if he ever thought of Paul in that way. But he figured it wasn't that big of a deal, the feelings were only small.

Paul, on the other hand, had extremely large feelings that were hard to shake off. When they were recording, he would look at John singing and he would go into a daze. But he knew his fantasies of being with John would never happen. Plus, John always had another girl. He always would.

But how much longer could Paul keep it from John that he secretly had strong feelings for him? Paul yearned to tell him, yet with all of the other girls, he felt he would be rejected.
