James looks pissed by the mystery guy that is currently trying to save me. He takes a swing and misses. The mystery guy..let's call him Batman. Yeah, He's batman. He's my hero. Batman ducks and kicks James feet out from under him and kicks him again while he's down. I look at them, in shock. My life is a walking cliche right now. Not your typical Rom-Com either.
"Get the fuck out of here kid. No need for you to get hurt."
"No. I see a beautiful girl that I believe needs some help. How can I just walk away from that." Aw Batman.
"Well you forced my hand." Father rushes at Batman with his blade. Batman dodges once but gets cut on the chest the second time.
"Now leave!" My father screams into his face. Batman stands up and faces my father and punches him in the jaw, causing my father to fall back. He took this opportunity to get him down so he punches him once more, knocking him out. He looks up at me and we stare into each others eyes. I sit there dazed by enchanting eyes. He smiles and breaks the silence.
"Are you ok?"
"Um Y-Yeah." He reaches his hand out to help me up. We stand there for a minute just looking at each other. He moves his hand up on my wrist, accidentally touching my new cuts. I wince in pain and pull my wrist away. He notices and lifts my sleeve to see them.
"Did you get those from him?" He says motioning towards my dad. Before I could respond, James start to groan and get up.
"Uhh, nows not the time to talk about it."
"Right. Come on." He runs over to the bike. I walk over to him. I'm a little hesitant. But then again, this will be so much better than being at home. I climb on the bike and he hands me the helmet. He grabs my hands and wraps them around his waist.
"Get your ass back here!" We look back to see a concious James running at us. We zoom off and away from all of it. I'm finally free. Batman saved me! Ha, Not many people can say that. I don't actually know his name.
"Hey, I didn't catch your name." He chuckles and looks back at me.
"I'm Ashton."
