We pull up to a gas station and I look around the store while he fills up the car. There wasn't many people in the store. Just an old lady, a teenaged clerk and some mystery hoodie guy. I walk around to the counter and look at the sunglasses rack. It varied in different kinds of sunglasses. My eyes landed on a grey pair that looked really cool. I put them on and looked into the mirror. They were nice. I looked over at the clerk and he was turned around watching the t.v. screen behind him. I ripped the tag off the sunglasses and quickly shuffled out the store. I looked back at the store. No alarms. No yelling clerks. Hmmmm that was easy. I put on the sunglasses and walk over to the car. I sit and look over at Ashton. He smiles at me and then tilts his head a little, almost like a puppy."Where'd you get the nice shades?" I smiled innocently at him.
"I just so happen to come into possession of them." A smirk spread across his face.
"You stole them?" He chuckled as he spoke. He put the car into drive and pulled out. He had an amused smile on his face as he watched the road.
"Maybe." I said shyly. He looked smug and pleased and I was curious to why. "What's the smug face for?"
"I just think it's funny how much I'm rubbing off on you so quickly." I smiled. Am I though? I didn't think I was all that bad. We kept driving around for a few hours, just driving. We ended up in a small town in the middle of no where. He pulled up to another small motel.
"Here we are." He smiled looking up at me.
"Is this what my life now consists of? Running from my dad and living out of hotels?"
His smile fell and he grabbed my hand. Butterfly's imediantly went crazy inside me. I wanted to almost melt."I'm going to make sure you have the life you deserve."
