RWBY x Spider-Man: Web of Remnant

Chapter 1: A New Beginning

Mysterio, a former charlatan turned member of the Sinister Six. A group of horrific and notorious villains of New York's own webslinging superhero, Spider-Man.

Our favorite webslinger began chancing after Mysterio who was in possession of plans for Holden Radcliffe's Inter-Dimensional Gate. Mysterio created duplicates of himself to distract Spidey as him and his copies went through different routes through New York. The real Mysterio however arrives in a warehouse near the docks where the rest of the Sinister Six was waiting.

Spider-Man arrives at the warehouse, but is too late. The gateway was complete and the six villains went through the portal. "Oh crap." Peter said as he swing through the portals. As he went through the portal, he felt his body became a bit lighter. When he arrived in where ever he ended up, his body weight became normal. Peter looks at his surroundings. It appears to be a temple with chess pieces on pedestals. "What the... Is this supposed to symbolize something? What ever it is, I'll look at later. Now, I need to find out where I am and to get home. Unfortunately, Mysterio and I'm guess five more villains must have went through the gateway as well, but I don't see them anywhere. I wonder if it's a cause of temporal displacement or something." He said to himself as he began swinging through the forest. Our caught a glimpse of a few bipedal wolf-like creatures. "That's new. Either Halloween came early or Jack Russell somehow figured how to clone himself." Peter swings down at the pack of wolves and noticed something that looked completely odd. These wolves had black color fur, bonelike spines along their bodies, red souless eyes, and bonelike masks with red markings on them. These creatures looked at Spider-Man and growled at him while approaching him on all fours. "Oh great. I'm guessing it's dinner time and I'm the main course."

Two of the beasts lunged towards him. But his spider sense kicks in making Spider-Man back flip out of the way as two of the Beowolves crashed into one another. The other two pounced towards him. He shoots a string of webbing at a bolder. He lifts the bolder up and yanks on the web string attached to it to slam the bolder on the Beowolves.

"Bad dogs! Stay...down?" He said as the creatures faded into ash. "What are these things? Ghost wolves?" He used the bolder again as it slammed on the other two beowolves. Spider looks at the black colored dust omitting from all four wolves dead bodies. "I need to get out of here." Peter began swing around trying to find a way out of the forest. He looks up at the sky; his eyes widened as he noticed the moon. "What happened to the moon?" He said landing on a tree branch to notice part of the moon has shattered. "Something is definitely wrong here. Where ever I am. I need to find help. Fast!" He resumed swinging. What he didn't know was the hidden cameras in the forest. He was being watched. But by who?
