Chapter 10: Welcome to Beacon

An alarm clock rings as Peter wakes up and punches the clock. Breaking it in the process. He heard a knock on the door. "Rise and shine Mr. Parker." Ozpin said opening Peter's dorm room door. "Time for your initiation. But first, it's time to introduce you to your temporary teammates." Ozpin walks away from Peter's room. Peter hides his web shooters and costume. "I wonder what I have to do. Probably a entry exam. That's what normal do when getting into college." He said quietly to himself grabbing a notebook with a pen and calculator. Peter walks out of his room. "Okay. I'm rea...dy? Who are these four." He said noticing a blonde haired boy with a black sweatshirt and armor. Next to him was a girl with light blue eyes and short red hair. Next to her was another red head girl. She was taller, had a ponytail, and had spartan-like armor. The last person was a guy with black hair with a pink strand on the left side of the hair and wearing a green long sleeved tailcoat. "Peter Parker. Meet Jaune Arc, Nora Valkyrie, Pyrrha Nikos, and Lie Ren. These four will be your temporary teammates during your time here." Ozpin said. Peter looks at his new friends and then at the headmaster. "Thanks. It's nice to meet you." Peter holds out a as Jaune takes his hand. He shakes it and nods. Peter looks at Pyrrha. Something about her looked a bit familiar to him. He's not sure what though. Ozpin taps Peter's shoulder to get his attention. "I believe it's also time for your initiation." The headmaster said. Peter still holding his calculator and notebook. "Right. I'm ready for the entry exam." He said. Pyrrha and Ren noticed that Peter had a notebook. "Uhh... I hate to break it to you Peter, but it's not that type of exam." Ren said. Peter was a bit confused. "Come. I'll show you." Ozpin said as he brings Team JNPR and Peter outside to the Beacon Cliff.

"You're task Mr. Parker is to grab the relic and bring it back up to this hill. There will be some obstacles you would have to face along the way, but judging by your skills, you'll probably be fine. Also, you need to figure out your landing strategy first." Ozpin said. Parker was a bit puzzled when he heard 'landing strategy'. "Landing strategy? Are you saying I should literally jump off this cliff? You must be cra-...!?" His spider sense kicked in as Peter was launched into the air and into the Emerald Forest as he flips in the air. Peter lands perfectly on the ground. "Could have done that better." He said roaming around the forest. Team JNPR and Ozpin observe Peter through their scrolls.

Peter noticed a huge cave opening as she walks into said cave. "Maybe the relic is in there." He said. Pyrrha remembers that while thinking about the Deathstalker her team and Team RWBY fought against. Peter walks further into the cave. He noticed ten glowing red eyes. Four of the eyes were small then the other six. Whatever creature this was, it noticed Peter. Thinking of him as a meal, the creature charges towards the boy. Peter runs out of the cave to get a better view of the creature. It was a giant black scorpion with white bone-like armor with red markings into middle of it's near it's eyes and a yellow stinger. "Woah. You're a big boy." He said getting into fighting position. The Deathstalker charges at Peter. Pyrrha's eyes widened as she thinks Peter was going to get stung by the Deathstalker's stinger. In her and Ren's point of view, they see a boy with no weapon(s) to defend himself with. Peter dodged the Grimm's scorpion tail as he climbs on top of it. "Hey Mac! How about a taste of your of medicine!" He said grabbing the Deathstalker's tail. Mainly at the stinger. Peter flips upwards and kicks the stinger hard enough that it stabs the Deathstalker in it's own head.

"Woah!! Awesome!!! He needs to teach me that." Nora says excitedly as Ren feeds her a pancake to calm her down. Pyrrha smiles at Peter's fighting skills. The young Parker continues wondering through the forest. He stops for a minute only to squint. He sees the shrine from that night that he first came to Remnant. It at eight podiums with chess pieces on them. He approached the shrine. "Which one should I take." He looks at each piece. Peter takes a black knight piece. "Eh... Reminds of the logo for that comic book company. What was it called again?" He thinks as he heard a squawk coming from above. Jaune looked at Pyrrha. "Okay. He took down that Deathstalker real easily. How is he going to down a Nevermore?" He said to his partner. Ozpin looks at Jaune and back at his tablet. "See for yourself Mr. Arc." He responded to his Student's question. Peter looks up to see a giant black colored crow with a white bone-like head armor with red eyes and red markings on the armor. "Woah. Hey you a friend of Toomes? Maybe Sam?" He climbs up a tree to get a better look at the huge Grimm. "Plus I think Songbird might sue this big bird for steeling her squawk.

The Nevermore swoops down towards Peter while opening it's mouth. Peter jumps up to dodge the Grimm's attack and grabs onto it's bone-like face mask. The Nevermore flies around trying to shake Peter off while squawking like hell. Peter begins repeatedly punching the Grimm's head hard. "Mayday mayday! We're losing altitude!" Peter yells as he continues punching the Nevermore's face mask. It eventually cracks as the Grimm crashed on the ground and into a couple trees. Peter was sent flying back towards the shrine. JNPR's eyes widened as they saw Peter take down two Grimm with his hands and just by annoying them. "Hmm... Interesting. Very interesting." Pyrrha said as Ozpin and Ren nod in agreement. Peter stands up dusting himself off. "Well... I guess Tweety that he saw a puddy-tat before crashing." He said as the young Parker runs towards the temple as he looks up a cliff. "I guess I climb up here." Peter begins wall running up the cliff. Making it to the top where Ozpin and Team JNPR are at. Everyone except Jaune takes a couple steps back. Jaune looked at his team and the headmaster with a confused look until he was blown back by Peter. "Well done Mr. Parker. Welcome to Beacon Academy." Ozpin says as he walks back to the school. Team JNPR and Peter follow. While on his way back to Beacon, Peter noticed a four familiar face in the courtyard. "Blake?" He said approaching the black haired girl with the bow in her head. Blake heard Peter's voice. Her eyes widened and her bow wiggles a bit as a result. The people next to her were Weiss, Yang, and a girl with a red color hood and black dress. "Oh... I can tell this is gonna be one hell of a adventure." He thought to himself.
