chapter one

Most people don't know, that behind everything there's always a story. No matter what happens there's always a reason. The story that I'm about to tell you, isn't an ordinary one. In fact it's probably the most twisted confusing story ever. And this story, is about a town, a small town, called Riverwood.

"Alison! Could you be any slower?" a tall, slim brunette girl yelled back to her friend

"Actually, I could." the blonde said slowing her pace down, and looked down at her phone for probably the fifth time this minute

The brunette stopped walking completely and waited for her friend to catch up.

"I'm just playing, Spencer. We're not gonna be late, so don't worry." the blonde comforts her friend

"Yes we are, because you're taking forever." Spencer rebuttals

"How many times have I told you? The party can't start until it arrives."

The brunette rolls her eyes, and the two friends walk alongside each other until they reach their destination, The Pembrooke.

The two girls make their way into the lobby, where they head towards the elevator.

Spencer presses a button and the elevator takes them up to the floor they want to reach.

The two girls are greeted warmly with many hugs, from their friends.

"Where are the guys?" Alison questions

"It's a girls night, Ali." a beautiful raven haired girl answers while setting popcorn down on a table

"What movie are we watching?" a girl with a pink strip in her brown hair asks

"I don't know, but we do have options." the raven haired girl says while scrolling through Netflix

"I vote Titanic." said the girl with a pink strip in her hair

"Ugh, are you kidding me Aria? We've only seen that movie a hundred times." a tall, golden skinned girl says as she walks in, and plops down on the sofa

"I agree, with Emily." the raven haired girl says

"Really Veronica? I thought you loved that movie?" Aria asks

"Sometimes, you gotta switch things up. It's fun to try new things." Veronica responds

"You can't blame me for liking classics guys." Aria states, while taking her seat on the sofa

"Well I for one, don't care what we watch." Spencer says as she sits down on another one of the three sofas in the room

"Hey guys!" says a preppy blonde as she walks in, along with another blonde in a ponytail

"Hanna, Betty!" Veronica says while giving them a hug, and not soon after all the other girls welcome them as well

"Looks like Cheryl and Toni aren't coming." Veronica says glancing at her phone

"Why?" Aria and Spencer say in unison

"Apparently something, came up." Veronica answers

All the girls were spread out in different areas of the room. They had decided on a movie, "Clueless" to be exact.

Spencer and Aria were sprawled out on one sofa, Emily, Hanna, and Betty were sitting on another sofa, Veronica and Alison occupied the last sofa.

In the middle of the movie Alison got up, and headed to the Lodge's kitchen.

"Ali, what are you doing?" Veronica asks quietly
