It's officially been one year since the
disappearance of Alison DiLaurentis and Veronica Lodge. Everyone had their own reactions, some were glad, some were sad. But one thing is certain, they were not forgotten.

Some were happy that the school's resident mean girl, Alison was gone, but others were sad that the only person who could ever stop her from her ways was gone. Veronica Lodge, the girl everyone thought was going to be mean, but instead one of the nicest people ever.

Everyone had drifted apart, the glue that held their crew together was gone. So what was left?

Hanna had lost all the weight, and was into shopping now. Shoplifting.

Aria got rid of the pink strip in her hair, and started writing. She became closer with Toni.

Emily had joined the swim team, and gained a boyfriend, Ben.

Spencer stopped going after all her sisters boyfriends, and focusing more on her schoolwork, trying to be more like Melissa.

Cheryl got her braces off, and changed her wardrobe. The school's reigning HBIC, and grew closer with Hanna.

Betty, to say the least, was still Betty. She still wore pastel, and her was always in a ponytail. Although her and Spencer were close when Ali, and Veronica were around, now the two are constantly clashing.

Toni broke up with Cheryl, took some tips from Aria, and dyed her hair pink. And joined a gang, The Southside Serpents.

Archie hit puberty, hard. He was no longer scrawny and thin, but muscular and the Riverwood Sharks quarterback.

Jughead still wore the same hat everyday, and most people still found him "weird." He was now the leader of a gang, The Southside Serpents.

Need I say that everyone changed? They've tried and somewhat succeed in moving on.

"Ugh, I'm getting sick of this boring class." Hanna complained to her close friend Cheryl.

The two friends were sitting in the back of the english classroom not listening to the teacher, Mr. Fitz, who was talking about "The Catcher in The Rye."

"That's a cute necklace. How'd you get it?" the redhead sarcastically asked her blonde friend.

"I think you know how." the blonde replied back wittily.

Cheryl snickered and continued to mindlessly play with her pencil, until the class was over.

After class the two friends went their separate ways, Hanna to Algebra 2, and Cheryl to History.

Right before Hanna enters the classroom her phone buzzes, indicating that she had received a text message.

Hanna banana, heard they don't let you bring accessories to prison.  -A

Hanna drops her phone in shock, but hastily picks it up, checking for any cracks in the screen.

Two questions ran through Hanna's mind.

Who else could know about her shoplifting? The only other person who knew was Cheryl, and she wouldn't betray her like this, would she?

And what the hell did "A" stand for?

~

After Cheryl leaves Hanna to head to her class she's stopped on her way by, none other than Toni Topaz.

Toni was looking back waving goodbye to some of her southside friends, when she rams into Cheryl.

"Watch where your going!" Cheryl angrily declares as she pushes Toni off her, and picks herself up off the ground.
