Liliana and her friends had just gotten out of school. It was finally Friday and Dave's party was only a couple of hours away.

Liliana had preferred to follow her best friend Stella home to get ready, but Stella had to attend an important family dinner before begging her sister for a ride to Dave's house, seeing as she lived almost 40 minutes away.

Liliana did too and was instead of going home and wasting a lot of time, she was following her good friend Viola home.

The only downside to following Viola home was that Liliana and Stella was in this squad, called OBH "Outs But Hauts", it had been Violas idea to call it that and everyone else had just rolled with it, 6 other girls were in this group, they had all been really tight both Freshmen and Sophomore year, but about one month into Junior year both Liliana and Stella were only hanging on by a thread.

Viola was still cool, so was Beth and Colin. But Alice and Lucy were apparently always going around talking shit about the duo.

It kinda sucked as Liliana and Stella were living on the outskirts of the town and didn't really have anyone else to hang out with, but they had each other and could still hang with no problem with the rest of the group.

You could say all of them were pretty fake and still hung out with each other pretending nothing was wrong and like it was just like before when all eight girls knew that wasn't the case at all.

Anyways, Liliana and Stella had just said goodbye, for the day, looking forward to seeing each other tonight again at the party. Liliana was now following Viola and Alice to a nearby grocery store, before catching a bus to Violas place.

For the year, Viola and Lucy were living with each other and came as a package deal most of the time, unfortunately for Liliana. But she only had to stand Lucy and Alice, the toxic duo for less than four hours before they were going to Dave's.

The three girls were buying Dave some chocolate as a gift for being invited to the party, there were around 40 people invited out of the 200 juniors at the school, Liliana wouldn't call it exclusive, but she was very happy over being invited.

Walking up to the cashier they were each holding 2 big chocolate bars each, and they were satisfied with their choices. As Liliana glanced at the watch on her phone she quickly figured out that they would be at the party in about 3 hours, and they had to do some walking in that time too, so she would most likely survive until then.

She didn't mean to come off rude, she just didn't want any fights or drama to occur tonight, and knowing these girls, it could happen over the smallest thing.

She hadn't been to a party since New Years, which was one and a half month ago! Way too long a time without a party. Tonight she even got to party with Stella which was an unusual occurrence.

Lucy, being a baking freak, was making a sweet banana bread as soon as the three girls stepped into the small apartment owned by her and Viola. It smelled amazing already, and even if Liliana and Lucy didn't get along anymore that was something even Liliana had to admit, Lucy was one hell of a baker.

Apparently, much to Liliana's surprise, the banana bread didn't take much time nor effort to make. At 5 pm it was done, and almost all the girls out of the squad came to eat it, it was delicious.

Lucy got lots of credit for her amazing baking skills and the conversation was taken further to what they all were expecting out of the night.

Viola wanted someone to hook up with, Chloe wanted to hook up with Dave, half of the class wanted to do that and he'd make out with most of them, but it was a "privilege" to sleep with him, as he often drunkenly would say.

Liliana finally confessed how good she thought Gavin looked with his new glasses. This was a big announcement, she had for the two and a half years they'd known each other gotten into a fight with him once a week.

They were taking most of their classes together and seemed to have a different opinion on everything. At the beginning of Junior year, the teachers had to create rules on how they could communicate and how long they could "discuss" a subject.

Most of the girls in Liliana's year had been crushing on Gavin since they first met, but Liliana had just been disgusted by him and his opinions, even if she loved to discuss things Gavin was too far up his own ass to be able to talk about anything and actually listen to anything Liliana said.

But now, he had gotten these glasses that looked reallllllly good on him, even Liliana had gotten a little weak in the knees when she first saw him. But she also knew that it would pass as soon as they got into one of their discussions again, and sleeping with him had never, and would never, be on her agenda.

Everyone had starred at Liliana when she had confessed this and she could swear that some people's eyes grew twice their original size.

No one agreed with her though, maybe because they had all been crushing slightly on him since the beginning, and no one thought Liliana should drink too much at the party, just in case she would get a stupid drunken thought and actually act on these newfound feelings, if you could even call them that.

The big form originally filled with banana bread was at last empty, everyone had been "fighting" for a second piece of the delicious bread, and in the end, everyone got at least a little piece.

Everyone was busy making themselves ready now, fixing their hair, makeup, and clothes, realizing they had been chatting over the banana bread for way too long.
