"Marla", My mom shouted from downstairs
"Time to wake up, or you're going to be late".

"Oh my gosh it's my last day of high school before I graduate, I'm so excited!", I realized as I woke up.

Here's a little bit about myself.
I'm Marla Marie , I'm 18, and I live in Portland.
I'm originally from Italy, but I'm adopted.
As you can already see today is the day before I graduate and I'm super excited!

I climb in my car and drive down the road to pick up my best friend Preston.

As I pulled up in front of Preston's house I got a text it was from my mom and it said "At your graduation party tomorrow we have a big surprise for you".

I smiled at the thought of what it could be.

"What are you smiling at?", Preston asked
"My mom just said she has a surprise for me graduating", I replied

During the car ride Preston and I discussed what my surprise could be, we also planned my party out a little more.

Finally we got to school, and everyone was going crazy with senior pranks, senior pictures, and making sure everything was perfect.

I headed over to my locker to start cleaning it out while Preston went to his homeroom class.

*Two hours later*
Since it was pretty much the last day of school and we had nothing to do, all the seniors could leave.

When I got to my car Preston was already waiting there.
"What took you so long?", He asked
"Sorry I got busy", I said

I dropped Preston off at his house around 1:30pm and went home to go and set up for my party.

The party is not until later tomorrow night, but I wouldn't have time to set up after graduation so now was the best time.

When I got home I was all by myself so now I would have to set up for the party alone.
