I can't believe he did that. Out of all the years I've none Preach he always respected a woman even when they were disrespectful or wrong. It had to be something serious for him to hit her.

"Why" I said smacking him in the back of the head.

We were just smoking and chillin in the studio. Preach knows that I wrote and sing. He the one who helped me pick out my equipment and allat other shit. I do miss having him around tho.

It was a message from Romeo saying that he can't come over tonight. He said something came up. That's odd, he didn't say what came up. I really wanted to get some dick. And also wanted to spend time with him tonight.

"Movie night🤷?!" I said

It's funny that he asked that. Swear he gets on my nerves. But I gotta love'em. He's best friend.

"Ohh yeah I offered him a new job" he said looking through Netflix.

I popped the popcorn and grabbed the other snacks and headed towards the living room. He brought the drinks over after he picked a movie.

"What you mean new job" I asked in a concerned tone.

I really like Romeo, and the fact that he wasn't in the drug business was a key factor of what I liked about him. I liked that he had a real goal. I like the fact that he was smart and had real life goals.

"Making runs, a few plays here and there, and probably eventually going to need him to murk a few niggas for me, basically all my dirty work" he said it like it wasn't nothing major

"No Preach he cannot do that he's still in college and then yhu only doing that because yhu feel some type of way that we are together" I said sitting down starting the movie.

"No I'm not damn everything ain't about yhu K, he said he was down to make some extra money and I told him that I will still sign his papers. I'll make sure nothing happens to him Kehlani" he said kissing my forehead

I know Preach is my best friend and all but I still don't believe that it don't have anything to do with us dating. He trying to keep him busy so that he won't be around. Knowing my baby he gone make a way to see me. But I do feel some type of way that he didn't talk to me about it.

We watched the movie and talked a little bit more. Then we watched some more movies until Preach went to sleep on me. I miss nights like this with him. I miss moments like this period before all the feelings came into play. Preach was knocked out on the couch. I grabbed a cover and put it on him.

"Where yhu going?" I heard him sleep talking

"I'm going to get in my bed, it's damn near almost 12 o'clock, and your sleep. I didn't wanna disturb you"

"What time did yhu say?!" He said getting up in a hurry

"Almost 12 o'clock" I said

He started putting on his shoes and grabbing his coat. Damn when did he take off his jacket. Mmm best friend got a body on him. Damn I forgot he gotta give them $2,000,000 for exchange of Monique. To be real I would have said fuck that bitch. She's grimy asf and he can't see that. But ima help him realize that.
