After a while Max let go of Rebecca. Even though she didn't want to she had to ask him why he was blushing.
"Is there a reason why you were blushing while you were holding me?" Rebecca said it nonchalantly that he was a blank slate.
The blush that was starting to leave Max's face now turned a crimson red. She laughed even harder at it and started to turn a deep red as well. This also made Max laugh off that embarrassing moment. At this point in time both Amy and Veronica had now awaken from their unconsciousness.
Rebecca and Max continued to talk even though they already knew that they were awake just to see what they would do.
"We should probably leave while they are talking." Amy whispered to Veronica.
Veronica nodded in response making sure not to make any noise. They unlocked the door and headed up the stairs. Both Rebecca and Max used their powers to follow them without their knowledge of it. They appeared in front of them with a shriek from Amy.
"How did you?!" Veronica shouted
Rebecca didn't answer her question, but walked off in the opposite direction they were facing. Max on the other hand answered her question by jumping into a wall which was able to teleport him through the shadows in the shape of a lion which was the mark on his chest.
"Even if we try to rat them out we'll probably end up dead in the process." Amy was so scared that tears formed in her eyes.
"How could she do this to us!" Amy screamed into her hands tears still coming down her face with no intention of stopping.
Veronica comforted her to the best of her abilities.
Rebecca had decided to take the long way of getting to her chambers to clear her head.
This wasn't the plan, they were never supposed to find out about this. No matter me and Max scared them enough to make sure they wouldn't open their mouths.
When Rebecca went into her chambers she found that the body was gone.
"Oh Rebecca, never the one to be sneaky about these things."
The voice made her hands curl into fists. His voice was like venom to her that it made her blood boil.
She turned around to face them head on.
"You!"
"I thought you would be more happy to see me, after all I am your brother."
"You are no brother to me, you never cared about our family nor did you love any of us."
"Such harsh words Rebecca I taught you better than this tsk tsk."
"You're the one that made me like this!" There was so much emotion in the way that she said this.
"I gave you a gift one that you choose to use so foolishly."
"A gift; that's what you call it."
"Because that is what it is."
"Leo, how many times do I have to tell you to leave me alone!"
"As long as I am alive which will be a very long time." He gave the most cruel smile possible.
"How can you call what I am doing foolish I'm avenging the deaths of mom, dad, and our sister!"
"I have no idea why you spend your time on this their death and you can do nothing about it."
Rebecca said nothing but the anger shown on her face was evidence enough. Leo noticing this pushed her buttons even further.
"Although you don't think this I actually loved our sister she was ruthless and would kill anybody that stood in her way, such a shame that she's dead."
Rebecca couldn't hold in her anger any longer and lashed out on Leo. She screamed which made the symbol on her chest glow which turned her into a wolf.
"Oh how cute, I do love a good fight."
Leo summoned his symbol on his chest which turned him into a dragon.
Rebecca struck first, which was easily avoided by Leo. She snarled at him which only made Leo roar just as much. Leo charged at Rebecca and took a huge chunk of flesh off of her. Her aura was starting to fade away. Leo took the opportunity to deliver the finally blow turning Rebecca back into a human. In turn Leo did the same.
"Pathetic." These were the finally words Rebecca gave to Leo before passing out.
