Jin's P.O.V:
February 14
9:00 am
It was raining as I stepped out of my apartment, the sounds of rain dancing against the glass windows echoed through the lobby as I exited to the carpark. It was calming, it was chilly, the perfect weather to start the day.
I walked across the wide carpark and stopped by my car. It was a gift from my father when I moved to Seoul 3 years ago. He said that this will be my graduation present, as well as my last present I received from him.
I unlocked the car and got in. I sat in it for a moment, daydreaming for a few minutes to let my soul get lost at the moment. I leaned into my seat, my hands rested on the steering. Today's the day, today is the day I will change my life forever.
12:00 pm
I met up with her. To think I have to go to Taehyung's place to get myself mentally and appearance-wise ready was the right choice as my sense of fashion was a bit off. I actually wore slippers to his house and it earned me a disgusted Taehyung who threw a pair of his Gucci shoes right into my face and told me to change into them before stepping into his carporch.
I stood there with a single rose in my hand, another in my pocket playing with the small box that could change my life forever.
She smiled, her eyes sparkled as she met mine. Her white dress fluttered with the breeze after the rain, her hair flowing down her shoulders, some secured with a hairband. She was radiant, she was glowing, she was the sun in my eyes.
I took the first step, walking towards her with the rose in my hand. Red, it was.
She took it and I held her hands.
This Valentine's will be the most magical moment for us.
6:00 pm
We went around the amusement park, we went to the arcades and raced against each other, we walked along the streets of Ming-Dong and now, we walked side-by-side, strolling along the beautiful beach.
"The sun is really beautiful today," she whispered, the wind taking most of her voice away.
Indeed, especially when you are here, I thought.
The sky is coloured orange, the clouds floated across the ocean, decorating the empty skies.
I took out my Polaroid and turned towards her.
"May I?" I asked.
She giggled and nodded. She took off her shoes and walked towards the shore, the waves gently brushed on her small feet. She pulled off her hairband and let her hair flow free, dancing along with the ocean wind. Her dress, ever so slightly, lifted over her thighs, the wind curving her clothes around her body.
I pressed the button.
One picture taken.
She turned around, and I pressed again.
Two pictures taken.
She smiled.
Three pictures taken.
8:00 pm
We had dinner beside the ocean, the waiter seated us on the balcony with a full view of the sea. The stars sparkled, but her eyes were much brighter than them. She looked around curiously, eyes filled with curiosity and excitement. Tonight, she is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life, and I believe I will never find anyone as beautiful as her.
There was music, there was singing, there were sounds of glasses clicking against each other.
I smiled softly, she caught me staring at her and fixed her gaze on mine.
She smiled, her face slightly tinted with red.
I blushed, my heart beating wildly against my chest. I was getting anxious.
4 more hours.
I still have 4 more hours.
10:00 pm
We finished our dinner and I dragged her out of the restaurant, my legs picking up the pace as I ran across the beach. She was laughing, I was laughing, both of us were laughing as we reached to the cliff, collapsing on the ground as we both tried to catch our breath.
I turned towards the sky, the stars were looking down on us, they were whispering to me.
I faced her, reaching for her hand and held it in mine. She turned and looked at me, her eyes glistering under the moonlight. Her hair was sticking on her forehead, her chest was heaving up and down from the sudden exhaustion.
I pulled her close, hugging her gently like she was the most precious being on Earth. I can feel her heartbeat against my chest, and I believe she felt mine too.
We laid there, whispering to each other while enjoying the night sky.
11:50 pm
It was almost time.
I stood up and helped her up.
I stood before her, my back facing the ocean.
11:51 pm
I stared at her face, taking in every detail of her facial features.
11:52 pm
I got down on one knee. My legs giving me out a little as I tried to stable myself.
11:53 pm
I held her hand, another hand in my pocket.
11:54 pm
I looked up to stare into her eyes, tears were glistening.
11:55 pm
I called her name.
11:56 pm
"You have always been in my heart."
11:57 pm
"And you will always have my heart."
11:58 pm
There were distant sounds.
11:59 pm
"Will you marry m-"
