Love Again

Chapter 3 : Judgement

It was February 17 (3 days after the incident).

Namjoon stood outside of the court, his hands are cuffed together and he was accompanied by 2 police. He was confused, he was lost, his mind still couldn't catch up with the situation. The clock rang across the courthouse and Namjoon was taken into the court.

He stood there, as stiff as a mannequin. 

He looked around the room, it was filled with reporters and cameras. He winced a little from the bright flash of the cameras and looked away. 

Jin was seated as the spectator, his eyes were cast down, avoiding as much eye contacts as possible.

The court was busy, but the both of them were quiet throughout the session.

According to the court, the incident happened at 12:00 am on February. 3 humans were shot dead, 2 were injured. Two males and a female, the males were shot straight in the head whereas the female was has two bullet shots, one in her head, one in her back.

It was suspected Namjoon was at fault for the tragedy as he was found on the ground with a 6-bullet hand gun. All the slots were empty, but only 2 slots was heated when he was found laying on the ground, drunk. The bullets were identical to his handgun but they do not exactly link to the murder. It was estimated that there were more than one killer but for now they only have one suspect. It was claimed that Namjoon was innocent but for the sake for further investment on his behavior and actions, he was sentenced to jail for 6 years to be investigated by the polices. 

Namjoon was shocked by the his unnecessary punishment. It was obvious to him that he was framed and someone in the court must have paid the judge to sentence him 6 years in jail even though he has enough proof that he was innocent.

He tried to oppose but before he could move an inch, he was pulled back by the police and was dragged away. He furiously wriggled under the arms of the polices and screamed through the court, his eyes filled with misery, searching for help. The last thing he saw as he was dragged out was his parents' face. They were emotionless. Age 18.

Jin, on the other side, was breaking down. He was sweating, he was traumatized, he was confused as well. Which was the reality, which was the dream? He started shivering, he has been locking himself in his apartment for the last 3 days sobbing and mourning, plus being in public with cameras and reporters surrounding him was putting pressure on him.

Taehyung sat beside him. He was concerned about the mental state of Jin, it was too perturbing to ignore. He rest a hand on Jin's back and felt the latter jolted from his touch.

It was not only heart-breaking to watch your lover's death scene, it was nerve-wrecking as well. Jin could no longer stabilized his emotions. He was breaking.  

A month after the judgement, Jin was hospitalized. 

He was found laying on the floor of his living room. His wrist was cut and a pool of blood was leaking out from it. Taehyung, who went to check on him, was terrified and shocked to see the scene before when he entered the apartment. He carried Jin to the nearest hospital, praying for him to stay alive.

Lucky for him, he did survived. Sadly, he was stuck in a coma.

The doctor revealed that Jin hit the ground too hard which caused a sever blow to his head, making him fall into a coma. He will be able to wake up, but with his mental condition, it will be hard for him to struggle through the dark in his mind.

 No one was there to look after Jin except his only best friend, Taehyung. His parents have left him ever since they got into an airplane explosion 5 years ago.

With his savings, he can pay for the hospital expenses but what about the life that awaits him when he wakes up from the temporary peaceful condition?

What will happen to the both of them with their life crumbling before them?
