Hi guys I'm back! Chapter 3, here for y'all to read ^~^

Disclaimer: if I did own fairytail, would I be writing this???

Pushing past the crowds, Lucy followed the pair while making sure she was out of sight. After awhile of stalking (no. Investigating), the duo went into an empty alley and Lucy slipped into the alley too. After peeking over her shoulder one last time, Lisanna turned to Natsu and her expression twisted into something of malice and hatred. She roughly shoved Natsu against the all, her hands squeezing his throat painfully. Natsu grimaced, but made no move to push Lisanna away from him. She leaned into his face, before sneering, "You will obey me and be mine alone"

From Lucy's position behind the wall, she had a perfect veiw of Natsu's face and she noticed something she hadn't before. Natsus normally black eyes that always had a hint of amusement in them now were a dull gray and seemed hazy and unfocused. It made no sense, but Lucy was used to being confused by now, and kept her mouth shut as she watched on in horror.

"But......but what about Lucy?", Natsu stuttered out.

'What about me?' Lucy thought bitterly, 'You were the one who called it off'

But when Lisanna's fist  punched Natsu squarely in the face, all reason was damned. Before Lucy could stop herself, she jumped out of her hiding spot and shoved Lisanna away from Natsu.

Everything went still.

No one moved.

Then, from the ground, Lisanna's face twisted from shock to anger. "How dare you? What gives you the right to push me like that? I was told to not kill you, but nobody said I can't rip an arm off or two". Lisanna's face broke out into a grin that was too wide to be genuine, and she jumped upright.

"Takeover Magic: Tiger!" Lisanna chanted, pouncing on Lucy.

Lucy let out a yelp, but got out of the way quick enough. "What are you doing?" She asked in bewilderment, "And what about those injuries you blamed on me?"

"That's none of your business. Now stay still", was the only reply Lucy got.

She clawed at Lucy face and was attempting to slit her throat.
Lucy screamed, blood dripping from her forehead, where a nasty cut was dripping freely. She tried to get out of the way, but Natsu came from behind and held her shoulders tight, putting her firmly in her place.

"N..Na.....Natsu?"

"Ha! Natsu isn't your Natsu anymore", Lisanna laughed, "He's mine and he will do my bidding. Natsu! Burn her up!" Lisanna let out another laugh, seemingly enjoying the look of horror on Lucy's face.

Burning pain came from her shoulders where Natsu was holding them, and upon looking, she noticed he was indeed burning her.

"Natsu! Stop it! It's me, Lucy, remember?", Lucy pleaded, but all she got from him was a blank look as he only increased the temperature.

"Sorry Natsu!" Lucy said, before she kicked him in between his legs.

Natsu let her go, yelping as he clutched the source of pain, giving Lucy a chance to run. Taking off, she heard the footsteps of Lisanna close behind. She looked back and saw Lisanna and Natsu falling back.

Her heart thumped as alder line pumped through her body. Even though her legs protested, Lucy kept on running as she dashed into the nearest store and dodged all the people she could. She then hid herself a rack of clothing and held her breath. She heard footsteps, heavy breathing, curses and the footsteps finally receded.

Lucy let out a long breath as she raised her shaking hand to wipe sweat and blood away from her face. She couldn't go to her home, because Natsu and Lisanna were surely waiting for her there. She had a feeling that she couldn't go to anyone else in the guild's house, and she finally decided to just head over to a hotel. She took another shower and crawled into bed, even though it was only evening. She laid awake, listening to the sound of her clock ticking, as she was slowly lulled into sleep.

The first thing Lucy did in the morning was go to her apartment. She made sure to check it was empty, before she slowly unlocked the front door and stepped in. To her horror, the whole placed was wrecked. Her coach looked like someone threw it into a pit of fire, there was a huge gaping hole in the middle of the room, and her bookshelf was completely empty. In a daze, Lucy walked around her room, fingers stretched out as she gazed at her home.

A particularity section of the wall caught her eye, and Lucy moved closer to the wall beside the door. Upon closer inspection, she realized it was scratch marks that seemed to make

"We will get you Lucy" she read out loud, running her finger along the scratch marks. 'Lisanna!', She thought bitterly. Why would she do all this? What did she mean when she said 'I was told not to kill you?'. Why did Natsu look like a brainless zombie? What is going on??

She walked back to her empty bookshelf, and she frowned. What was the point of taking all her books away? She didn't have anything worth stealing. It was just her luck, Lucy was starting to get what was happening and she needed to get more books. Not wanting to waste any time, Lucy threw a couple of things in a bag and set off to the Hargeon Library in Cyllage.

As Lucy waited for her train to arrive, she heard a stream of curses and grumbling to her right. Turning, she saw an awfully familier looking girl with a blue shirt and jeans. She kept her brown hair up and away from her caramel colored freckled skin in a high ponytail, and if you squinted you could see the endings were dyed a faint purple.

The girl noticed Lucy was looking at her and blushed in embarrassment.

"Oh geez, sorry for mumbling like that," the girl apologized and lifted her hand to Lucy, "Names Ayumi by the way".

Lucy shook the lifted hand and gasped as she heard her name. "Ayumi? You mean Ayumi Yoshik? The Earth Dragon Slayer?"

Ayumi grinned at being recognized and nodded her head. "Yup! The one and only!"

"Wow! What are you doing here? Where are you headed now?" Lucy asked.

Ayumi's gaze dropped to the floor as she shifted uncomfortably. "Well...see I'm not too sure myself. I was...kicked out of my guild not too long ago."

Lucy gasped in shock. "Really? The Flaming Foxes kicked you out? Why?"

"I honestly don't know myself. I guess it might be that I challenged the guild master to a brawl, and when I beat him, he must have gotten angry and embarrassed. And no one stood up for me either! Some guild...." Ayumi's expression turned sour as she talked about her former guild members. She looked back up at Lucy and all traces of her brooding vanished as she smiled, "Whatat about you? You're Lucy Heartfilia, aren't you?"

"Yup!"

"So where are you headed?"

Lucy saw now harm, so she went ahead and told Ayumi all about her story.

"I can help you! I know quite a lot about libraries and ....well I don't have anything better to do", Ayumi offered after she finished listening to Lucy.

"Awww that's sweet! Sure!" Lucy gushed as she gave Ayumi a bright smile.

The train finally arrived to a stop and the two hopped on.
