F/N held his companion's hand as he walked back to the apartment.
"I need to work more... We can hardly feed ourselves." F/N sighed, his face still emotionless.
"L/N-chan!! Why dont we rob the bank? We haven't had lots of fun lately!!"
Ruri whined and frowned.
"Okay fine, it shall be done."
F/N sat up and got ready
They both changed clothes to hide their identity.
F/N carried Ruri on his shoulders as he ran from roof to roof.
"Ruri, we're here, distract them."
"Yes yes!!"
And wih that Ruri jumped off, leaving F/N to prepare.
"Ruri, ready?"
"Yesh!"
F/N jumped through the window, breaking it,
"Hello, dear civilians, care to give us a tip?"
F/N's eye flashed a bright green and
*SQUELCH*
A sickening sound rang through the lobby, nothing but red is seen.
"Ruri, get as muh as you can handle. I'll get as muh as I can."
"Okay!!" The little girl and F/N hurried over to the vaults.
All of a sudden, sirens came wailing through the roads
"Crap! Ruri, we gotta go."
"L/N-chan!! I'm not done ye-"
Before she could finish, he pulled her away from everything, taking the money, and ran.
"What happened?"
"CAN't you hear the sirens, Ruri?"
"OH RIGHT IM STUPID."
And then, a hero stopped them in their tracks.
"You villains, I'm here."
The duo quickly slipped on their masks and prepared a fight.
"Ruri, we- Huh?"
When he turned around, Ruri was gone, and she was fighting the hero with her twin tail quirk activated.
F/N watched from quite a distance, and it reminded him of the incident...
*CRASH*
Ruri was crashed down onto the wall, deactivated her quirk.
She was gasping for air
"SHADOW, RUNN!!!!!"
Ruri shouted for her companion to run before she was crashed onto the opposite wall.
F/N couldn't think of anyhing as he quickly dashed to her unconscious body.
And dashing back at the original place.
"Ruri.. Ruri no... You're the only one I have..."
"Shadow... you gotta be tough.. You know, I made a vow to myself to protect you, since the day you were captured to our organization..
I'll never forget the day you escaped with me..
Please, be great for me, turn into someone who can surpass millions and billions of people.
Goodbye, F/N.."
And with that, Ruri closed her dull eyes, her mask slipping off.
"AAAAAARRRRRGHHHH!!!"
A loud cry was heard.
A raging aura surrounding the body and the villain.
"WHY DID YOU DO THAT!! WEREN'T HEROES SUPPOSED TO BE SAVING LIVES??!!!"
The angry villain clutched to the unconscious dead body of the little girl.
