The monster isn't a killer. It doesn't do anything but get in your head. It gives you negative thoughts. It is meant to manipulate you. To get in your head, telling you that you cannot do this or you don't belong or that you are not good enough. They follow you around, some ignore it some try to fight against it. Those who ignore it will soon break and give up. Those who fight it keep it hide and choose not to give in.

Have u ever texted someone saying "I'm fine" while crying ur eyes out. People never know how you really feel. They can't go inside your head to find out either. You can put on a smile while you're really dying inside. It may be fake but its better than talking about why when they don't even care.

They tell you to be yourself. But you know yourself isn't good enough and you try not to let it out. You keep a wall to hide your true self. Sometimes a little crack get into the wall and a little of your true self comes out. They judge for it. A tiny piece of your true colors. That's when you know to make sure that wall will always be guarded. You learn to be careful of every step you take. Make sure that every little thing you do you think about first. Coz you don't know what society likes and doesn't like. You act like you don't care about what they say but you really do. So much more than those who say they do. Most of the time. You just don't know what to do but cry. And it's ok. Coz thats how you feel better and the wall heals its cracks.
