The Robinsons had decided to give Mari the day off since she had been working so hard and rarely had time for herself. She was reading a book by Zane when she heard a knock on her door.
"Come in!"
Mari looked up when she heard the door open and realized it was Marcus.
"Oh, its just you. Look it's my day off so whatever you need you just gonna have to fend for yourself."
"Well hey to you too Mari." Marcus joked. "Actually I really need a huge favor from you."
"Marcus, didn't you just hear me say it's my day off? Damn nigga, don't quit ya day job."
Marcus just ignored her comment and continued on talking. "Can you accompany me to a team dinner? All the guys are bringing dates and I really don't wanna bring no sleazy bitch."
Mari thought about it for a minute and Marcus seemed sincere about what he said. After thinking for another minute Mari decided she would go. She ain't have shit to do anyway.
"Yeah i'll go what time should I be ready?"
"7:30. Thanks Mari! Now get all sexied up. You got two hours. Vamanos!"
Mari just smiled at Marcus. He actually made her smile.
"No Marcus, just no. Get out so I can be the sexiest bitch in there."
Marcus just walked out smiling. She is finally coming around.
