Ameka
I was getting dressed for my outing with Marcus. I didn't understand why I was so nervous but I was. I placed my curly hair into a top ponytail, slipped on my tight denim blue jeans and a red holter top with my red wedge heels. I smiled at myself in the mirror while analzing my figure.
"Where you going dressed so cute?" My sister entered my bedroom while I placed my red lip stick on my lips.
"Got a date "
Alaina folded her arms and studied me. "You're serious Meka."
I nodded laughing at her. "I can't have fun some time?"
Alaina flopped on my bed. "Well you better NOT behave yourself. Be a bad girl for me."
"Your bad for the both of us. Now if you'll excuse me." I walked passed her out to the balcony.
When a black Mercedes pulled up I knew it was Marcus. I slung my purse over my shoulder and walked over to the car. I didn't want Alaina all in our business so I hurried to the car.
I got in and smiled nervously at Marcus He was looking fresh and fine. He sped away and turned the radio up. I turned it down.
"Where are we going?" I asked him.
Marcus licked his lips glancing at me before looking back at the road. "You'll see."
"Ok, so what made you finally decide to get in touch with me Marcus."
"Something drew me to you. Not just your beauty but something more. And the fact that I think you're a ride or die. Girl you pulled that gun fast as shit!" Marcus said.
I laughed. We talked some more until we arrived at a spring carnival an hour from town. "Wow."
Marcus undid his seatbelt and walked around the car to let me out. "What?"
I looked around, "I've never went to one of these before."
Marcus looked confused. But he didn't say anything, he grabbed my hand and led me into the carnival. We walked around eating funnel cakes and drinking lemonade, until I got the courage to get on the ferris wheel.
We set there, and my leg began to shake. "Ameka, calm down." He laughed holding my leg still.
"Is it going to go high?" I shut my eyes and held onto his arm when the ferris wheel began to move. "Oh God! I'm going to die!"
"I got you ma!" Marcus said still laughing at me.
"Let me down!"
The ferris wheel stopped at the very top. Marcus removed my hands from my face. I looked over the city and seen how beautiful it was at the top. I calmed down enough to let his arm go.
"Let me find out your scared." Marcus moved closer to me and held my hand. When the ferris wheel began to move again I closed my eyes taking a deep breath.
Marcus was perfect gentleman to be so hood he made me laugh like a school girl the whole time. I loved being around someone so smart. We played games and rode more rides until the sun began to set.
We walked over to a local diner and set down and ate dinner. His phone kept vibrating the whole time. "Don't you want to answer that?"
Marcus gave in and decided to answer the phone. "Yo?"
I set and ate my fries listening to his conversation while texting Toni.
"I'll set up a meeting Monday, but don't do shit until I do." Marcus hung up and turned his attention back to me. "So tell me about you Ameka."
