Peters pov.
Today was a huge day for dad. It was the anniversary for stark industries. It was its 30th anniversary. I even dressed up for it. We both climbed into the sleek black limo and started to plan.
"Okay underoos, we walk up on stage, you stand on my right, I say my speech and if you are required to talk you say how you feel okay? "
I nod, taking everything in. Ever since we announced I was a stark I got really good at speaking infront of everyone. When we arrived the car was swarmed with reporters so happy had to clear a space. Dad got out the limo first and I closely followed. We both went back stage waiting to be called out. Dad was called out first. "Can everyone give around of applause to tony stark! "
The crowd went wild, screaming his name out. He calmly smiled and started his speech.
"I wanna start by thanking everyone who helped me and my father build stark industries. My father, Howard stark, was a great business man and boss but many of you don't know how terrible of a father he was. He was never home and when he was he always hid in his room, improving stark industries at home. My mother was the only one there for me and she was hardly the either. Regardless, I am so happy I inherited stark industries from him, its such a great feeling. Thank you all of you. But in like 60 years time cos I'm not that old my son, peter stark, will take over stark industries. I shall hand over to him"
I came out and put on my (fake) goofy grin and waved to the crowd. I stepped up to where dad was and thanked him and turned to the microphone. "Hey everyone hope you enjoyed my dads speech cos I sure didn't. "I smile cheekily to dad while the crowd laughed and dad pretended to be offended so I carried on.
"But on a serious note I'm proud of my father for taking on stark industries at such a young age and letting the industry thrive. To be honest I'm scared for the day I take over. My father has done so much for everybody here in this room and millions across the globe. He has done so much for everyone even people who don't particularly like him. I'm scared for the day I take over because I have such big shoes to fill. That's all I have to say and I hope you all have fabulous night. Thank you"
I walk of stage and go over to dad. He looked like he was about to cry. I smiled so big I think I sprained my mouth and gave him a big hug. He hugged back and whispered to me"you did great"
