His eyes piercing into my own with a sinister grin on his lips. He looked at me with such a evil look that it scared me.
"She's mine."

I punched the tree harder at another flash of whatever the hell it is. I've deemed it's memories and something else, I have no idea what but it just seems to damn real to be a figment if my imagination. His menacing voice filling my head just pisses me off to no end.
"You okay Lauren?" Troye asked concerned and I spun round a gave him a quick nod and returned back to my task.

Harry needed some trees out the way since it was in the way of mine and Camila's house. Obviously, I offered my help and that leads to now, where Troye, Brant, Shawn and I were getting rid of the trees, meaning I was punching them down and the boys were carrying them away.
"You've been distracted all morning Jauregui, what gives?" Brant spoke smugly and I kicked down a tree and looked at him with a hard stare.
"Highly recommend that you don't start shit with me today Brant." I warn and he laughs a little at my warning which infuriated me more.

As if he sensed it Shawn moved closer to me just in case I tried to go for Brant, which was most likely going to happen.
"Aw, has the little vampire got something on her mind?" Brant had been trying to set me off since he came out the infirmary, barging my shoulder, attempting to trip me up, saying annoying shit and just pushing every last nerve. Nothing was working which seemed to anger him more.

"Cmon Jauregui, why don't you just show Camila your true colours already?" I felt my eyes instantly change out of rage. I slowly turned around and looked at the wolf,
"Shut your fucking mouth." I spit out and his grin grows. I stop kicking down the trees and I just stood there waiting for him to say one more thing Camila related.
"It's a shame she's stuck with you. I just wish I could give that beautiful as—" I grabbed his throat in record time and lifted him into the air and slammed him into a tree. I heard Troye howl for help but I didn't care, all I wanted was to feel the bones in Brants neck crack under my fist.

"LAUREN, GET OFF HIM!" Jason shouted and attempted to pull me off the wolf but I remained still and my grip didn't falter. It took Jason, Cole and Dylan to get me away from the tree but nobody could get my hands from around his throat. Until, I heard Dinah roar into the chaos. I loosened up my grip but still didn't drop him, it would take a lot more for me to not kill him. Since he was a wolf, he could go about five minutes without breathing so all he felt was pain.

"Lauren, please let him go." Dinah begged but I didn't listen, I was dead to the world until I felt a soft hand cover my own. I looked down to see Camila with a serious but calm look on her face.
"Babe, let him go." I instantly dropped Brant and he scampered away from me and ran into the pack house.
"Why were you strangling my best fighter?" Dinah asked softly and I grabbed Camila protectively and kissed her temple.
"Nobody talks about my mates beautiful ass except for me."

After a long lecture from Dinah about controlling my urges to kill Brant, I was called to go see Zendaya, which was weird considering we never really speak. She keeps to herself mostly but she is still loyal to Dinah which means she's not my enemy. Thank god, I've already got enough of them.

I smelled her out and she was down by the rivers bank in the wood at the ruins. By ruins, I mean my burned down cabin and Jackies shrine. I felt so bad since I killed her that I needed to honour her somehow so I built her a shrine with my own two hands and when done I asked Harry to make sure it would be a permanent thing which he did.

I sprinted through the woods with my vampire speed and soon enough I spotted Zendaya sitting crossed legged on the walkway that lead out onto the water. She looked so in her element and at peace. I envied that. To finally be able to relax and sit back with Camila in my arms and take a breather. Whenever she's around I get a moment of that feeling, until she leaves and I feel on guard again. I just wish people would leave me alone so I can live my immortal life out in tranquility but I can't until everything is behind me, including my past which always seems to find a way to fuck me over.

"Lauren, please sit." Zendaya motions once she senses my presence and I obey and sit right beside her looking out into the mountains that surround Kleinwood.
"Why did you need me?" I ask after a minutes silence and I look over into Zendayas calming brown eyes whilst she breathed the air around us deeply.
"There's something disturbing you. I can smell the anxiety seeping off you everywhere you go. That's my gift, I can sense emotions." Zendaya explains in a soothing but monotone voice and I sigh. There's no hiding it if she can sense it.
"T-There is." I stutter and Zendaya looks away and dips her feet into the water. I watch her in pure awe at how calm and in tune she was with everything.

"Please, enlighten me. Not only for my curiosity but yourself. The longer you go with pent up emotions it will burst like a ballon at a high altitude." Zendaya ordered but she said it so softly it didn't even seem like a command. I ruffled my hair and think of where to start.
"Um, I guess it's a multiple list of things. First, Ian. I want to help but the witches are insisting I stay out of it for my safety since I'm his target so that's stressful. Second, my past. It just keeps finding a way to ruin everything I have now and I'm scared that it will, I guess bring me back to square one. I'm running for my life and fighting for my life." I explain in a burst.

Zendaya just sits and listening with such interest that my heart melts with appreciation. This is what I feel like a mother figure would be like. This is what I wanted my mother to be.

"Also, I've been having these weird things where I'll see the face of some guy who is familiar but not at the same time, telling me stuff like 'She's mine' and 'I'm going to take what belongs to me' it's not very pleasing." I add on and I wait for Zendayas response.

"To your first problem, I've been watching the witches closely as I don't trust their kind and they are keeping true to your promise and are doing everything they can to fight Ian and his Elizabeth puppet. To your second problem, if you past is meant to destroy everything it will, theres just nothing you can do about that but let destiny follow its path. You're still here aren't you? 221 and strong. That means that right now, your past isn't going to interfere but I recommend you prepare for that to happen so when it does your ready to fight back." I nod in understanding and I watch as she slowly spins towards me so she's facing me directly.

"For your last problem, it's not flashes. It's telepathy. Someone is projecting messages into your brain. Tell me what does this man look like?" She asks in urgency and I flash back to the café I always see him in.
"He has dirty blonde hair, blue eyes, middle aged and he's always seems old and he is definitely British. I always see him in a café sitting at a booth with a small smile tugging at his lips." I explain as detailed as possible and Zendaya stands up and shouts for Ally. In a instant she's next to Zendaya with her breathing uneven.

"What do you need Zen?" Ally asked sweetly but knocked it off once she saw our serious expressions.
"I need to use your gift. I need you to look at Laurens memories." I feel panic rising inside but Zendaya places a hand on my arm in comfort.
"It's okay, you have control over what she sees. Ally's gift is to be able to look into people's memories and she can also identify each one of them by name. So if you thought of your past self, Ally would mutter the name Michelle Morgado." Zendaya explained in order to calm my nerves which thankfully it did.

I was finally going to put a name to the face.
