Noa's POV

It's been a day since we got here and we still aren't aloud beyond our door. I don't think we ever will be, especially since I don't trust any of these Cleansers around Oscar or Ruben. Apart from Gal and Natasha.

They stayed true about their intentions and haven't hurt us in any way unless the leader ordered we be punished and they did the damages with extreme care. With them here it felt as though our parents were actually with us.

"Can you at least tell us where we are?" Ruben asked as he slumped back on the bed after playing a losing game of Rock Paper Scissors with Gal.
"That we can. We are in little old Sweden." Natasha announced in a grand voice that made me chuckle. Then I realised how far we were from Cuba.
"Holy shit. How are we gonna get home?" I began to panic a little then Gal cradled my head into her chest.
"Don't worry bout that love. Everything will play out as it should, with you lot back with your mothers and hopefully the leader dead." Gal reassures in my ear in a soft whisper which calmed my nerves.

"Tell me about mom. What was she like when you met her?" I whispered and Gal sighed before clicking her tongue.
"We were told that Michelle Morgado was the most ruthless vampire to ever live. As kids we were threatened with her name, my mom used to say if I didn't clean my room probably Michelle would come and that my mom would have to clean my blood off the floors. Natasha and I were sent to kill Lauren when she was living in Ireland in 1991. We were only teenagers at the time and we were so hype about it, but when we found her she was laying down on a rooftop staring at the stars. She didn't care that we were there to kill her, in fact she held Natasha's cursed weapon to her head and begged her to pull the trigger. We spared her life that day because I couldn't bring myself to kill her. Everything we were taught about her was lies, I didn't see a monster, if anything I saw a human." Gal explained the time they all met with as much detail as she could.

It was insane to think that before mom found peace and happiness she was begging to be killed. Sure, she told us that she had a hard time growing up and that she didn't believe she deserved anything but death but looking at her now, she's got family and friends that love her dearly and when I see mom and mom interact with each other she has nothing but adoration on her face.

I want love like that. The type of love that makes me feel like I'm flying in the sky and like I'm on Cloud 9. Almost like a helium balloon.

"Alright kids, we gotta go. Time to go see mom and mom." Natasha announced and we all exchanged our goodbyes. I just hope that mom remembers them and doesn't kill them at first glance.

Laurens POV

We managed to find out that the boat was a private one with no name but it was owned by a rather rich and respectable family who were from Russia. Their family line goes on way before I was born which probably means that the family is a Cleanser Clan. If it's Cleansers that have taken my kids it's most likely the same Society that has been hunting me down since I was fourteen.

Camila and I have been completely restless. Searching from every angle and I'll admit too punching down a few trees when our leads come up useless. Whoever is doing this definitely aren't amateurs, they know exactly what they are doing and that alone is fucking annoying. The wolves have been searching all over their territories but their scents are dead but Troian told us that if they were dead she wouldn't be able to feel their presence but she can so that's a good thing.

"What was the family name of the people who owned the boat?" Dinah asked as she stared at the map covered in crosses signifying the places we've searched.
"The Huntsmen." Camila replied with a tired voice. We also haven't slept since their disappearance so we are a little drained.
"Does that name ring any bells Lauren?" Jason asked and I thought back to when I was young.
"Growing up, in church their was three families who were hunting me. The Linchpins, The Young's and I'm pretty sure Huntsmen was the third family but I couldn't be sure." I say with uncertainty and Dinah slammed her hands down on the desk in my office.

"There is nothing. It's like chasing after smoke." Dinah mumbled and I felt tears welling but I pushed down my emotions.
"Smoke always has a source." I mutter before leaving the room with Crystal hot on my tail. I sat down on my house doorstep and huffed loudly.

Crystal remained silent as my thoughts raced.

I thought for a hot second that I was free. That I was finally free from all the death my life has burdened me with, I honestly thought this all ended with Sebastian but as soon as I saw that daycare up in flames I knew. I knew that peace doesn't exist in this world. I guess that I could be normal, with my beautiful wife and children by my side and I'd watch Ruben grow up into a strong man, watch him fall in love for real and treat a girl like a queen. Watch Noa endlessly about a kiss that sent her head spiralling and see Camila in her. Then I get to see my baby boy Oscar grow into a handsome young man and teach him to be respectful and kind and to never intentionally hurt anyone.

Watch my mate, cook breakfast in the mornings, dinner at night, play with the kids, teach them and waking up and seeing those beautiful chocolate eyes that stare at me with so much love and affection. Protecting her from the men who think she's single and watching as she turns from a cute little bean into a sexy vixen. Get to see her orgasm face over and over again and feel her skin on mine.

Overall, to just be happy. Sadly I can't do that. Everything fell apart the minute Cleansers targeted us. Now, I doubt whether my dream life is achievable. I'm just gonna have to keep fighting my way through the darkness.

"I don't know what else I can do Crystal. I just...want everything to go back to the way it was before the Cleansers showed up in Cuba. I was, we were so happy." I practically whisper but I know she can hear me. She rubbed my shoulder in affection as I took deep breaths to calm myself down.
"I swear Lauren. You will get your kids back. Even if it means I have to raid every house on the face of the planet." I smiled in appreciation.

"Well, you won't have to do that." A strangely familiar voice echoed from the bottom of the driveway. I stood up and looked at the intruders, instantly I knew who they were.
"G-Gal? N-Natasha?" I spoke out as I walked down toward them both as the carried wide smiles.
"There's no time to catch up but we have a message for you and your mate." Gal announced and I mid linked Camila to come outside and in a instant she was by my side looking at the Cleansers in curiosity.

"Your kids are safe." Natasha said with a smile and I heard Camila gasp.
"You've seen them?" I asked and they both simultaneously nodded. I let out a breath of air that I didn't know I was holding.
"Ruben put up such a fight against Dex, you would've been so proud. Noa, she's been so brave and strong for both the boys and Oscar has just been calm for the entire time he's been with his siblings. The entire time they were apart, Noa and Ruben fought for Oscar, it was honestly so heartwarming and Oscar wouldn't stop crying. You've raised such amazing kids Lauren." Gal said with a wide smile and Camila lurched forward and pulled them both in for hugs.

"Thank you so much." She whispered and I smiled sweetly at the scene.
"I can't say where but they are in Sweden." Natasha said as a alarm on her watch went off. Gal pulled away from Camila and together, Natasha and Gal said goodbye and ran into the streets of Cuba.

"Crystal. What Cleansers have homes in Sweden?" I said and Crystal smiled wildly and directed us to go back into the house.
