ENCOUNTER OF A LIFETIME (REVISED VERSION)

Part 2

<Back in the hotel room>

You laid down on the bed 🛏 trying to catch your breath from walking so fast. You started to gather your thoughts and process what you just saw. You kept repeating the image of the guy 👤 you saw saying "Was it really him? How could it possibly be? Jared Leto, the Oscar-Award Winning Actor / frontman and lead vocalist of the band 30 Seconds To Mars enjoying a hot steamy bath  🛀  inside the jacuzzi room on the same hotel as you are." Who knew that a particular event would give you the opportunity you once dreamt about. Suddenly, while laying down, you remembered that there's a scheduled meeting which will take place on the next couple of hours so you quickly got on your feet  👣 , stood up and got ready to attend the 1st day of the convention.

A few hours ⌛ had passed, the convention being over. You exit the conference room where the convention was held, you heard some teenage girls  👭  gossiping and chatting in Japanese and then you heard one girl  👧 saying Jared's name. It made you wonder what was it all about because you saw him earlier that day. Since you got some spare time  ⏲  before heading back to your room, You decided to visit the receptionist area and ask them a few questions.

You: Hi, there. How are you? My name is Amanda and I am one of the Research Analyst from the Japanese-American Cultural Convention earlier this morning (you were saying that while showing your ID badge hanging around your neck). 
Receptionist: Kon'nichiwa, tetsudai masyou ka? こんにちは, てつだいましょうか (Hello, how can i assist you today?) she bowed down her head and put her hands together (a Japanese way of showing courtesy).
You: I'm so sorry but i don't understand or speak Japanese. Is there anyone who can help me who speaks english?
Receptionist: Sumimasen すみません (I'm sorry miss, one moment please).

The receptionist then step to the side, picked up a phone  ☎  and started talking. Moments later, a man  👨  approached you from the back. He was wearing a black suede suit with a necktie  👔 (he must be the hotel manager).

Hotel Manager: Hello there, Ms. Amanda (he must have noticed your ID tag) nice to meet you. 
You: Hello sir. It's nice to meet you as well. I'm guessing you're the hotel manager (you also noticed the name tag on his chest pocket).

The two of you shake hands.

Hotel Manager: Yes, yes i am (he answered with a nice smile ☺ on his face). You can call me Daniel.
You: Sir Daniel, i was about to ask the receptionist if there are other events being held here aside from the convention. 
Daniel: Oh about that, i have to check it on our database  💻  to see what else we have scheduled. 
You: Okay, thank you. 
Daniel: It's our absolute pleasure to assist our guest during their visit.

A few minutes later...

Daniel: As i can see here on our database, it says that we don't have any other events going on but i do see a private reservation in one of our Deluxe Suites on the top deck reserved for "Mr. Jared Leto".
You: Excuse me?! (your face suddenly got shocked  😲 after hearing his name) Did you say Jared Leto?
Daniel: Yes, is there something wrong about what i said?
You: Uhm, no. Nothing. I thought i misheard something else. May i ask, what is it for?
Daniel: I'm sorry Ms. Amanda but unfortunately that's classified information for the safety of our guest.

*You suddenly felt stupid by asking that question. Of course they wouldn't give out those kind of information*

You: No need to apologize, that was dumb for me to ask. Anyways i really appreciate your help Daniel. Enjoy the rest of the day, good-bye 👋 (you shook his hand again and left).
