ENCOUNTER OF A LIFETIME (REVISED VERSION)

PART 5

The wind blowing , leaves 🍃 from the cherry 🌸 blossom trees 🌳 falling as you walk. The location of the hotel is indeed sophisticated. In front is the beautiful view of the mountain, Mt.Fuji 🗻 . As you wander outside you couldn't help but think where could he possibly be. Osaka is a big city 🏙 . He could be near or far away. He might have rented a bike 🚲 and went for a ride. You then want to stop yourself from thinking and get over the 'mind games' that Jared started when he said "You know where to find me". Obviously you know where he stays. The hotel manager said that Jared reserved a Deluxe Suite on the top deck but you know for sure that the access will be restricted 🚫 . So it would be stupid to go up to his room so you just gave up. You saw a bench, sat on it and took out your phone 📱. You decided to take a selfie 📸 and as you were about to take it, there he is suddenly sneaking behind and photobombed you with a big goofy look on his face so the picture you took came out looking funny.

You: .... (looking at the picture with a pouted 🙁 face).
Jared: Aren't you going to upload it?
You: No. Because this isn't how i imagined our selfie would look like (still a pouty ☹ face).
Jared: Oh come on, look at it. It's funny and besides you look cute 😝.

"What did he mean i look cute? I wasn't" (you silently said to yourself) As for Jared, you do know that he will always look good no matter what he does on every photo.

Jared: Ok, I think i owe you an apology. I'm so sorry i didn't mean to do that. I just thought maybe we could have some fun (he then sat next to you and pull out his phone 📱 from his pocket) Amanda, look at me. I'll take the selfie 📸 using my phone 📱.

As you were about to face him, you noticed that he was leaning so close to you and he is inches closer so you accidentally kissed him on the lips 👄 as you turn around (oh my god, you quickly and shyly turned the other way) Everything happened so fast you didn't even noticed if the selfie 📸 was done. You then looked back at him. He just remained seated and looked like nothing happened.

You: Uhm, hey.... uhm Jared.... about the kiss.... i uhm (you then saw him doing something on his phone📱).
Jared: Here take a look (as he handed it to you).

You then look at it. It's the selfie 📸 that he took (he captured the accidental kiss) The picture has a caption that says 'selfie time with my ❤' posted 2 mins ago via his Snapchat. Moments after, it's starting to get dark 🌆 . There's just the two of you walking next to each other. There were moments of silence and small chit-chats. You suddenly wondered why he posted that so you decided to asked him.

You: Jared, can i ask you about something. It's about the pic you posted. Why did you? (before you even finished your question he suddenly said).
Jared: Hey, look our picture is having many likes and reposts, they're even writing some comments (his phone📱kept on chiming continuously with notifications as he looks at it).

You just looked at him speechless trying to utter some words to say because inside your head, you know that he has a lot of followers online so for sure all of them were already asking him questions (you suddenly got famous on social media).

Jared: Don't worry about it. I can tell by your facial expression that you're getting worried 😓 .
You: But Jared (rushed thoughts came to your head, you're getting all freaked out, thanks to his caption). Can you at least change the caption on the picture? That's probably the reason why...
Jared: Amanda, what did i just say?! (his voice sounded annoyed).
You: .... (you quietly thought, oh Jared. Whatever it is you are doing please stop it. It's not funny).

The two of you kept on walking and then he said "There's this place i visit whenever it's sunset 🌇 here in Japan (he quickly grab your hand) Come, let's go. It's almost time. I'm sure you wouldn't want to miss this". After a few blocks, both of you where suddenly on a tiny Japanese village. On that village, is an uphill slope so the both of you walk towards it and there it was. A beautiful overlooking view of the mountains across the city 🌆 and the sun ☉ . "Look at that" Jared said while gazing at the amazing view and then continued saying "Isn't this one of the best views here, Amanda?" (you were just standing looking so amazed yourself) and then you said "Yes it is amazing Jared".

Sunset over. Timeout. You looked at your wristwatch ⌚ and it says 7:00 🕗 pm . Who knew an ordinary walk in the afternoon could passed by quickly specially when you're spending it with someone special (on this case the man himself). You almost forgot about the unfinished report 📝 that you have been working on which will be submitted on the last day of the convention.

You: Jared, i think we should go back to our room, uhm.... i mean our hotel room.... wait what? (jeez, what the fuck am i saying?).
Jared: What did you say? (he then walk towards you, getting closer).
You: It's 7:00 🕗 pm (you showed the time from your mobile phone 📱) We should probably head back to the hotel.
Jared: Aren't you hungry? We've come all the way here. I know another place that we could go to (he said completely ignoring you).
You: Yes, i am hungry that's why i think we should just go back and eat inside the hotel.
Jared: It's not fun to eat inside the hotel. Besides, why are you in a hurry to go back anyway?
You: I, uhm.... there's.... something i need to.... (inside your head, why are you trying to make excuses, deep down you've been longing to spend time with him and if it wasn't for that report, you would have wished to spend more time with him the rest of your stay).
Jared: Amanda, could you please stop whatever you're worrying about. Couldn't you just enjoy my company for the rest of the evening?
