Chapter 53

Minah POV

I walked into the hospital and headed to the front desk.

"May I visit Choi Minho? I'm a family friend."

"Floor 8, room 289." The lady replied.

"Thank you." I politely bowed my head made my way to the elevator.

Minho has changed his last name. Choi was his moms last name before marrying. I never really knew why since I never bothered to ask.

Once I arrived on floor 8, I walked around trying to find room 289.

Once I found it, the door was closed. I peaked threw the window and a curtain was blocking my view.

Hesitantly, I opened the door slowly and shut it behind me.

I nervously walked around the curtain.

And there he was.

Alive but lifeless looking.

He's so pale. So sickly looking.

I walked closer to him.

His hair looks untouched.

The wounds aren't as bad anymore.

I reached out and moved his hair away from his eyes.

He was warm. Which almost shocked me since he looks like a dead cold body.

I pulled a chair over and sat next to him.

I hesitated to touch his hand.

I then held onto it quite firmly.

"I know you probably can't hear me. And I know I may seem crazy talking to someone who's in a coma." I choked a laugh. The tears were starting to well up inside. I couldn't hold it in anymore.

"I'm so sorry Minho. I never realized you were so broken. I can't believe I ignored you. That I rejected you. I'm at fault for that. For so many things." I sobbed at this point. Holding onto his hand so tight, thinking maybe he'll wake up.

"You needed me. You needed someone. You were neglected. You needed a friend and the only real friend was me, but I left you. You were alone. I'm so sorry Minho. And I know these apologies are so stupid because they can't change the past. But this is the most I can do. I love you Minho. Please.... wake up soon." I choked and stared at his face hoping that maybe he'll wake up now.

But this is no movie.

He wasn't going to wake up.

I knew that.

But I still have hope.

It doesn't matter when, but please Minho. Wake up.
