Birth-Mom pov

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I screams as a stronger contraction than all the others goes through me.

"Just breathe, Ms. ???. The baby will be here soon." a nurse says, trying (and failing) to calm me

" YOU TRY GIVING BIRTH AND SEE IF BREATHING HELPS YOU!!!!" I shout through the pain, before I scream again from a MUCH stronger contraction.

~~~~~~1 hour later (I don't know sh1t about child birth)~~~~~~~~~~

"WWWWAAAAAAA!!! WAAAAAAA!!!!!! WWWWAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!" cries my newborn baby girl

"She's beautiful. What will you name her??" asks one of the nurses

"Nurse Ruby...." the doctor says, before whispering, "She's putting the child up for adoption."

"Oh dear... Are you sure you want to do this Miss??" Nurse Ruby asks

"I'm sure." I say through tears, "I'm not ready to be a mother."

The nurses and doctor look sad, but take away my baby girl, but not before I see the heart birthmark on her upper arm.

Marinette's pov

"MS. BUSTIER!! CHLOE'S BEING MEAN TO ME!!!" I cry as Chloe smiles meanly at me

"What's wrong, Marinette? What happened??" Ms. Bustier asks me

"Chloe *sniffs* said that Mommy and Daddy had me *sniff* by accident!!!" I reply, crying

"Chloe, that's not nice. Go sit on time-out." Ms. Bustier says

"But..."

"Now, Ms. Bourgeois!!" Ms. Bustier says, demandingly

Chloe sulks and stomps over to Time-Out.

I watch as Chloe sits down and pouts.

"You'll sit there until I say so." Ms. Bustier says, before looking at me, "Marinette, why don't you go play with Nino, okay?"

"Okay, Ms. Bustier." I say, before smiling.

I walk over to Nino, who's playing with Rose and Juleka and trains and train tracks.

"C'mon, M. We need you smartness." Rose says, smiling.

"'Kay!!"

We're half way through the tracks, when I say, " Hey, guys? I'm gonna ask Nanny Angel to take me to the hospital. I want to know for sure that Mommy and Daddy really ARE my Mommy and Daddy."

Nino, Juleka, and Rose look at me, before smiling.

"Then we'll come with you." Juleka says.

"Bye, Ms. Bustier!!" Rose, Nino, Juleka, and I call out

"Bye, you four. See you Monday." Ms. Bustier calls back

"Nanny Angle!!" I say, "Can we go to the hospital?? I wanna see something!"

"Well.... Alright, Young Miss." Nanny Angel says

"How can I help you, young lady?" asks the man at the desk

"I wanna know if Mommy and Daddy are REALLY my Mommy and Daddy." I tell him

"Alright. And what is your name?" the man asks

"Marinette Lucia Dupain-Cheng."

"Alright. So what you'll want is a DNA test. It costs €291 (291 euro/ $341.92). Can you afford that, Ms. Marinette?"

"Yes!" I say, pulling out my gold credit card

The man looks surprised at the card.

"My uncle gave it to me." I say

The man takes the card, does a few things on the computer and gives me back my card.

"You'll be called for shortly."

"Okay." I say, before remembering something, "Thank you!"

"You're welcome."

After about 15-17 minutes, I'm called. I walk up to the nurse and smile.

"Hello..." I look at her name tag, "...Nurse Ruby."

"Hello, Ms. Dupain-Cheng. Please come with me."

"Okay. Guys stay here."

"Okay." my friends say

"Here are the results, Ms. Dupain-Cheng." Nurse Ruby gives me the paper and I smile.

"Thank you." I say, before leaving with my friends

Once we're outside, I read the papers and gasp.

"Guys! Mommy and Daddy AREN'T my Mommy and Daddy!! ????? and ????? are!!" I sqeak

"NO WAY!!" my friends say!!

After that I never looked at my birth parents the same way again.
