Hadley walked down the steps of the catacombs, passing two other teens who talked as they walked. The girl glanced at Hadley and gave her a nasty look. Hadley saw this out of the corner of her eye and kept her head down. Ever since the fork battles last year, the rumor of her friendship with M and crazy old bird man Addictus was spread like a wildfire in a windstorm. This was used against her and people claimed that M was on her side and helping her win illegally. She was outcast from her almost non-existent role in the Fork Cult.

She sighed and turned down the other hallway, spinning the fork in between her fingers as she walked. Her light brown, copper bangs cast a shadow over her face, hiding her identity temporary from sight. She walked the halls aimlessly, too anxious to eat. Her mind wandered as she herself wandered the catacombs.

It was her own fault anyway. If she hadn't gotten so cocky and revealed her secret to Reach, none of this would've happened. Reach, being one of the people she had to fight to get to the finals.

She was such an idiot. She gritted her teeth. Her position in the cult was snatched away from her because of it.

She groaned and smashed her head against the concrete wall (suicidal much. -_-) only muttering a simple "oww".

She should be readying herself for the FBF but she just couldn't gather herself together enough to be near other human beings. They're eyes seemed to bore holes in her, tearing at her like a flash of lightning in a strong tempest. The whispers scratched at her arms, clawing her flesh away. Once bared she would bleed out and flee, unable to face the predators again.

The cycle was constant, gather courage, get eaten, flee, bewailing, and the final stage, the one that took the longest, healing. With the wounds freshly healed they would devour her again, the pain increasing.

She didn't hear the screaming in the distance and was shoved away by a fleeing man. She was faced with Addi and his old owl who both looked like they were on drugs.

Wait, he was on drugs.

She sighed and pulled out her phone whilst Addi flew past her. Screaming "I'M A BARBIE GIRL, IN A BARBIE WORLD, MY FACE IS PLASTIC, IT'S FANTASTIC!"

She pulled out her phone with a groan. "M, Addi got into the emergency crack again, he's down the west hall chasing poor Zuwix." She spoke into the microphone over Addi. "I also think he gave some to that poor undead owl of his, it's eyes are going crazy."

He sighed. "I'm coming."

Hadley sighed with relief and continued walking along in solitude. Addi on crack was a hilarious thing, but a trouble for those who are suffering from it. M would have to double- no triple- no quadruple lock it. Every time the old man would somehow break into the emergency crack safe. No one knew how he did this.

Hadley walked off away from Addi and Zui's screaming, wishing to further reflect before she gets thrown in a pit with two monsters and a dragon.
