Norman Bates

The rain was thickly coating my windshield, the wipers doing little to clear it as I continued down the mostly deserted road. Fog was floating around the lights making my vision of the road only worse. Thunder kept vibrating the car and I was about ready to just stop for the night. I thought maybe i should just sleep in my car till a bright neon sign caught my attention. Driving the best I could to pull up to it, upon getting closer I could see it read 'Bates Motel' 'vacancy' "awesome.." I mumbled to myself, glad to finally get to stop driving and sleep. I pulled into a parking spot and cut off my car. I was reaching for my purse when there was a knock at my window I froze, purse in hand and turned to see a man with an umbrella at the car door. Hesitantly I opened the door a bit. "H-hello, I-I'm Norman Bates, Its r-raining pretty hard so I thought Id help you in." I blushed lightly and realized he must be the owner of the motel. "Well thank you Mr.Bates." I carefully stepped out of my car and stood close to the handsome man as he followed me to my trunk and helped me grab my bags. I activated the lock on my car and followed him inside the warm lobby. "Thank you again." I said softly as he tucked the umbrella behind the door, then smiled shyly at me before slipping behind the counter. "N-no trouble, no u-use in catching a cold." I tucked a strand of my (h/l)(h/c) behind my ear. "I think traveling with a cold would be just as bad as driving in that mess." I giggled. He laughed softly and placed a sign in book on the table handing me a pen our fingers lightly brushing against each others. I signed my name and smiled up at him, "how much?" "$50 for the night." I pulled out my purse and handed him the money. He put the money in the drawer and looked at the keys before giving me room one. "Here so you can get me more easily if you need me." I nodded and took the key. "Thank you so much I feel as though I might just collapse." Norman rubbed the back of his head. "Glad to be of help." "Goodnight Norman." "Goodnight (y/n)" I went to my room and put my stuff on the chair. I stripped down and changed into my pajamas then cut off the light and went to sleep.
What was unknown is that someone had been watching her the entire time...
