Over the next week, Draco and Isabelle had grown a bit closer to each other, which made Isabelle a very happy girl. She was basically miserable all of these years without Draco, and now she was a lot happier.
Currently, both Slytherins were in potions class, attempting to brew a drought of death, in order to receive the liquid luck potion Professor Slughorn had introduced them to at the beginning of class. If Isabelle won it, she would use it to make sure she and Draco could stay in their relationship. But she wasn't sure what Draco's intentions were if he received the potion.
Standing at her cauldron, she was getting a bit frustrated, scrunching her face a bit in concentration. 'Damn, this is harder than anything dad taught us.' she thought. Glancing up at Draco, the blond gave her a slight smile, and she smiled back.
Harry and the other Gryffindorks were in the same class, and Slughorn seemed to be favoring them, especially Harry, which made her sick.
"Harry, my boy! Well done!" the professor exclaimed. "This is perfect. I do believe we have a winner!"
Draco had looked over at Potter and glared. Everyone else had tried, but their potions were not exact. Isabelle looked at Harry and glared as well, knowing that he had somehow cheated, but couldn't prove it.
After class was over and Potter had received the liquid luck, Isabelle and Draco left the classroom, and headed towards Charms class. "I can't believe Potter got that damn potion." Draco grumbled as he held Isabelle's hand. "He had to of bloody cheated."
She nodded in agreement. "I know. But we can't prove anything, love." she said with a frown.
Before anything else could be said, Severus had come up to the two of them. "Come to my office before dinner. The three of us need to talk." he said, looking between the two Slytherin students.
Draco nodded and let go of Izzy's hand. "Yes, Professor." he said.
She nodded. "Of course da- I mean, Professor." As soon as Snape walked away, she looked at Draco and frowned. "Why did you let go of my hand?" she asked.
"Because I think he has found out about us, and isn't happy about it." Draco replied as they kept walking.
Isabelle rolled her eyes. "Don't be ridiculous. I'm sure it has to do with the other thing. Besides, my dad isn't as harsh as he seems. You of all people should know that, Dray." she replied.
He wasn't too sure about that, but said nothing more. It wasn't Severus he was worried about. it was his own father's opinion that had him concerned.
{Timeskip to before dinner time}
Since their last class was Dark Arts, and Severus was the professor, Draco and Isabelle stayed after to speak to the man. Heading into the office, Isabelle looked at Draco. "Relax, will you? I told you not to worry."
He merely nodded as they entered the office, and took a seat. Severe was already sitting at the desk and looked at the pair. "It would have been nice if the two of you had told me about this before I had to hear it from the other Slytherins." Severus said, mainly looking at his daughter. Then he looked at Draco. "I'm not against it. But you know as well as I do Draco, how your father will feel about it. But I will leave that up to you to say something, considering he will be here tonight after dinner. Apparently Miss Parkinson took it upon herself to inform him."
At this point, Isabelle was furious. How dare that pug face bitch go and run her mouth! She was going to hex her and put her in the infirmary for this. Draco took her by the hand and squeezed it gently as he looked at Severus. "Thank you for supporting this, sir. And my father will just have to accept this. For once, I'm going to go against his wishes. I love your daughter. I have for a really long time." he said seriously. "And I promise I won't hurt her or let anyone else hurt her." he added.
Isabelle looked at Draco and had happy tears in her eyes. She was speechless as she smiled. Then she looked at her father. "Thank you dad. It means a lot to me that you are okay with this." she said finally.
Severus looked at her and nodded. "Yes. Well the two of you should get going before you are late for dinner." he replied.
The two teens quickly left the office and headed towards the Great Hall. "See? I told you my dad would be okay with it. And I wouldn't worry too much about your father. He is probably more focused on what You Know Who wants right now." Isabelle replied, saying the last part quietly.
Draco said nothing, and just nodded as he held her hand, going to dinner. He knew better, and knew Lucius would be furious.
