'Then let's give him what he wants...Hide and seek! Hank grinned.
Just as Hank finished his sentence they could hear a knock. Their eyes met, most likely the same thing going through their minds.
'Check all the rooms!' Hank yelled as he ran off searching for the deviant. Could sense the sound wave coming from the underground.
'Hank! Hank! It's coming from the underground! Connor said as he abdorbed in his mind trying to find to the deviant.
'So you say there is a basement, huh?' Hank said as he started to stare the at the floor. Connor knelt down and he lifted up the dustly rug of the living room. He saw a handle of the wooden aperture he was kneeling next to. Hank slightly nodded as Connor was waiting for his sign to try and open it.
'It's stuck.' said Connor as he tried to open the wooden aperture with all his strength. 'I think it's locked from the inside. Hank suddenly left and came back soon after.
'Try this.' Hank said as he handed over the inspected axe from before. 'This might work.' Connor took the axe, signing Hank to keep a little distance in order not to get hurt. He soon after had a hole that was big enough to fit his hand in, so he could unlock the aperture from the inside. He slowly put his foot on the stairs of the basement he climbed down slowly. He almost made his whole way down when something grabbed his leg.
'Please, don't take m--...You are an android, aren't you? said the android as his worried expression slowly faded into a relieved one. 'Thank God.'
'Hank, he is here!' shouted Connor. 'We are going to take you in and hear you out. If you are not cooperating with us, we will immediately send you back to CyberLife for a deactivation.' said Connor as he grabbed the android's wrists, waiting for Hank to put the android's hands in the handcuffs.
'W-Why are you doing this? You are one of us! You are just a slave to them--'
'Shut up! Too bad I didn't bring a muzzle.' Hank said as left the basement with the android. Connor and Hank handed the android over to the police and they were about to leave when Hank looked at Connor.
'Connor.'
'Yes, Lieutenant?
'You didn't feel anything when he told you 'you are just a slave'?' asked Hank.
'No, nothing at all. Was I supposed to feel or react differently than I did?
'No Connor, I guess you did well.' Hank said as he got in his car with Connor. Hank dropped Connor off by the Detroit Police Station, then he drove to his house. He opened the front door and headed inside. Sumo immediately noticed that his dear owner finally arrived home. He woke up and started to shake his tail in excitement.
'Who's a good dog?' Sumo laid down on the floor, then Hank started to pet him on his stomach. Come on boy, come here and have your dinner.' Hank put Sumo's bowl filled with dig food down on the floor. He then turned, opened the fridge and took out a cold beer. He sat on the couch, turned on the TV and watched football matches until he almost fell asleep, when he heard his phone rang. It was a private number.
'Who's talking? It's too late, you are pretty damn lucky that I answered.' said Hank with an annoyed tone.'Lieutenant? It is Connor speaking. I thought I'd remind you to bring the sheets tomorrow about the investigation.' said Connor.
'W-What? How do you know my number? asked Hank a bit surprised.
'I saved it while scanning your phone.' answered Connor.
'Nice, a few more days and you will even know my size, won't you...' (HUEHUE I wanted to make a dirty joke, guys excuse my perverted mind :3)
'What?'
'Nothing! Let me sleep!' said Hank and hung up. Half a minute later the phone rang again.
'Lieutenant don't forget to intake only the average amount of coffein tomorrow.'
'Connor, for fuck sake let me sleep!' Hank hung up once again.'Fucking android, always pissing me off and bothering with useless things.' he murmured. His phone rang again, but he didn't even bother to check who's calling, because he knew it was Connor. After a short while there was another incoming call, Hank picked up.
'Did I not tell you to let me fucking sleep, you asshole?!' Hank shouted.
'Hank Anderson?' it was Captain Jeffrey.
'O-Oh. Yes?'
'Don't forget to bring the sheets tomorrow, "you asshole".' said Jeffrey and ended the call.
'Aaargh, they are making me crazy!' Hank buried himself in the sheets, slowly falling asleep.
