The next day was hectic. Malachai and I walk into school together and he leaves me at my locker to go do a deal. I watch him walk away, sighing, before turning my attention back to my locker. "I still can't believe that's who you ditched us for." I jumped at Toni's voice. "We both know I didn't ditch you." I retort.

"I saw you looking at us yesterday. You miss us. So ditch the facade and admit you are only with him to get back at the serpents." Toni angrily snapped. I slammed my locker shut, "you know what Toni? Get this through you your thick skull. I am not leaving Malachai. I do not miss you and I hate that I'm even talking to you. I expected the serpents to do what they did, maybe even Sweet Pea, but not you. I think you hurt me the most and I can't forgive you for it. So leave me alone."

My voice choked and I turned away. "Alison." She called out. I ignored her and walked into my first period.

The rest of the day leading up to lunch was drama free. At least for me. During second period, a fight broke out between Malachai and a random serpent about the street race.

I calmed him down and leaned into his chest. He put his arm around my shoulder and stared off into space with a pissed off look. "Don't let that snake throw you off, okay? You're gonna win tomorrow." I whispered in his ear on the way to lunch. "Lets ditch lunch." He smirked. "And go where?" I asked. "To my buddy's car. His bike is in the shop so he had to take his uncles car today and he gave me the key so it's all ours."

"Lets go." I giggled as we took the back exit.
He pecked my lips, leading me to the car. We hopped in the back seat and he shut the door. Our lips instantly smashed against each other as I slid and he pressed me against the window. Our lips moved in sync as his hands unbuttoned his pants. "What are you doing?" I mumbled against his lips, my eyes lingering down to his hands. "Cmon we'll make it quick." He hummed, reaching for the hem of my shirt. "Not at school."

His mouth moved from my lips, leaving little kisses til it hit my ear. "Cmon babe. I'm stressed, help me a little." He whispered. "Later, but for now, we can make out?" I pressed my lips on his, but he moved to the other side of the seat. I scoffed, "Are you serious?"

"Why are you such a tease all the time?" He huffed. "Im not a tease. I just don't wanna have sex in a school parking lot." I defended myself. "What's the big deal?"

"We could get caught." I rolled my eyes. "Whatever." He buttoned his pants, opening the door and slamming it shut. I sat alone in the car, silent. My eyes started tearing up, realizing how miserable I was. I unwillingly open the car door, stepping out and leaning against it. Tears pour down fast, and I try to wipe them away faster than they're coming.

The lunch bell rang and I hurriedly rushed to the hall. I walk into 5th, bumping into a tall figure. I try and shrug past but they hold me out, looking at me. I already know it's Sweet Pea so I don't bother looking up. "What's wrong?" He asks. "Nothing. Just leave me alone." I whine. "You're crying." He points out. "No shit." I try and push past him again but he doesn't let me move. "What happened?" He asks calmly. "Nothing. and I suggest you let me go before Malachai walks in."

"What's he gonna do?" Sweet Pea scoffs. I shrug, "just please. He's already mad enough at me."

I look up at him, and he stares hard in thought, but it's too late. Malachais voice boomed through the classroom, "What! The! Fuck!"

I turn to him, scared, but keeping a hard face so it won't show. Sweet pea pushes me to the side. "It's nothing, Malachai."

Malachai eyes Sweet Pea, before brushing him off and walking towards me, "This is Why you wouldn't fuck me in the parking lot?" He disgustingly points at Sweet Pea. "What? God no. I was trying to walk to my seat."'

"I don't need cheating whores in my bed." He spits at my feet. "I swear babe. I didn't cheat on you! I was just talking to him because he wouldn't let me go to my seat!" I screamed. "Is that true?" He raised his eye brow at Sweet Pea. "She was crying." He shrugged. My face heated up in embarrassment. "Why are you guys such assholes?" My voice cracked, pushing past them to my seat.

Class was silent. Malachai didn't even attempt to talk to me and Sweet Pea would occasionally glance my way. He was not the most subtle starer. I tried concentrating on my work, but let's just say I wasn't feeling it.

The last bell of the day rang and I walked out the of the back doors, alone. I glanced around, watching everyone in their respective groups. The serpents leaned on to their bikes, their serpent jackets wrapped around their body and intimidating looks on their face.

I then looked to the ghoulies. They looked pretty normal for today. It's usually only when they do crazy shit that they have the gothic make up on, but the crazy sparkle in their eye, that was a full time look.

Malachai was nowhere in sight and I had no choice but to walk up to the ghoulies alone. The ghoulies didn't particularly like me, unless I was with Malachai. I awkwardly waddled to their cars that they were leading against. They all stopped mid conversation and eyed me. "Umm have you seen Malachai?" I ask. "He went home."

I nodded, rolling my eyes. Now I have to walk home without him. Shit. I angrily stomp away, starting the 40 minute walk. I usually wouldn't care, but considering I'm dating a gang leader, i now have a target on my back for anyone that hates the ghoulies. Which is a lot of people. I can feel the serpents staring at me as I walk by them, but I don't look back.

"Allison!" Sweet Pea calls, running up to me. "Are you serious? Can you not take a hint? I don't wanna talk to you." I stop in my tracks, snapping at him. "Fine." His face hardens, "Then you can tell your little boy toy he's gonna loose tomorrow."

"In your dreams." I walk closer to him. "I have way better things to dream about." He smirks, eyeing me. My breath hitches in the back of my throat and I glare at him, stomping away. I hear his evil chuckle, probably from the satisfaction of knowing he made me uncomfortable.

I speed walked to Malachais, my anger fueling me, and getting me home in record time, 25 minutes. I aggressively shoved the door open. I look around and see Malachai sitting sitting on the couch, a beer in his hand, 3 empty ones beside him, and a blank expression on his face. He was drunk. "You can pack your bags." He slurs.

"What?" My throat dried, the color drained from my skin. "I don't need any distractions for tomorrow."

I sighed, "you're drunk." He shrugs, sipping the bottle again. "You don't know what you're saying."

"Just go, Allison." He chugs the bottle, finishing it off and chucking the bottle against the wall. I flinch, "Fine. I'll leave, but just know if I do, I'm not coming back."

"Don't let the door hit you on the way out."

I scoff, nodding and grab some clothes off the floor and stuff them in a bag, along with my phone and charger and took some money I had scrounged up. "Bye Malachai."
