Chapter 4

Sting's POV

"Shhh, it's okay." I said peacefully as I hugged her tight and gently rubbed her back.

"Sting-it's-just-Natsu-he-" she talked in between sobs.

"Tell me what happened later. Go take a shower and I'll take you out to dinner."

"Really? Thanks Sting!" Lucy went into the bathroom.

I sat down on the couch and turned on the TV.

Lucy's POV

I grabbed my clothes and a towel and went into the bathroom. I locked the door and leaned my back against it.

I'm going through so many emotions right now, hopefully a shower and a night out with Sting can cheer me up. I took a shower and dressed up. I'm wearing a red dress that goes to my ankles. (A/N: The dress she wears in episode 1 if you haven't guessed.) Now my hair is in a towel and I'm doing my makeup. Once I finished my makeup I dried my hair and tied it up how I normally do. Except I used a red bow.

10 MINUTES LATER

I walked out of the bathroom.

"Hey Sting I'm ready!"

"Okay let's go!"

I put on my black heels and grabbed my black shoulder bag. Sting put on his shoes and we headed out the door.

"Sting, where are we going?"

"It's a secret."

"Well it won't be until we get there."

"What? No way! You should have told me Lucy!" We both laughed.

I'm feeling better already.

Sting's POV

As we walked toward the 'secret destination', I smelled something. I smell Natsu Dragneel.

That fire mouth better not ruin this.

Natsu's POV

I can't believe Lissana...kissed me. Well, I used to like her but ever since she left I got over her and developed feelings for Lucy. But there's no way she likes me back. Lucy has been on my mind ever since the faint scent I had of her when Lissana kissed me. In fact, I smell her right now. I guess I'll follow the scent and say hi.

"Hi Luce! Wanna go-" I froze.

She's with that bastard Sting Eucliffe.

Lucy's POV

Natsu...

"Lucy, why are you with that bastard?"

What do I do?

Sting grabbed my hand and whispered to me. "Let's go."

We walked faster but we would hear Natsu chasing us. We stopped since me feet hurt. I took off my heels and put them in my hand. Me and Sting started running and we stopped again at a dark ally.

"What do you want, pinkie?"

"I wanna know why you're with Luce."

I walked forward but Sting held his arm out holding me back.

"It's okay, I know what to do." I whispered.

"Natsu."

"Luce."

"Natsu, first of all, the reason I'm with Sting is NONE of YOUR business. Also, I have a name. It's LUCY. Let's go Sting."

Natsu stood there as if Gray froze him and I put my heels back on. Sting and I continued walking.

On the way to wherever we were going, I told him everything that happened.

"I'm sorry that happened." Sting put his arm around my waist and held me closer to him.

"It's not your fault." I chuckled.

Sting's POV

Fucking Salamander. He almost ruined the whole damn thing!

"Oh, Lucy. We're here!" We're in front of a big and fancy restaurant.

"Whoa! Thanks Sting!"

I chuckled and scratched the back of my head.

1 HOUR LATER

"Lucy, how about I walk you home?"

"Sure."

Lucy's POV

As we walked to my house, I feel something in my heart. I think I'm starting to fall for Sting. I loved Natsu, but I know he likes Lissana so I have no chance.

"Lucy?"

"Huh?" I snapped back to reality.

"Sorry I was spacing out heehee." I chuckled.

"We're at your apartment now."

"Oh, uh see you tomorrow then!" We hugged and I went inside and he walked home.

Sting's POV

On the way home I took my phone out of my pocket and starting texting.

To: Lissana Strauss

Subject: Thanks

The plan went perfect! Although we bumped into Natsu on the way to a restaurant. Lucy handled it though. Thanks!

"And send." I whispered to myself.

Lucy's POV

Once I got home I took of my shoes and flopped on my bed.

"Ah, I guess he's finally off my mind." I sighed.

"Mind off of who?" I was startled.

"Natsu?"

"Hi Luce-Lucy!"

"Why are you here? HOW DID YOU GET IN?"

"I have my reasons. You didn't answer my question. Mind off of who? Who's on your mind now?" Natsu leaned closer to me.

"None of your business! Just get out!"

"Lucy do you have any fish?"

"You too Happy!"

"See you at the guild then!" Natsu jumped out the window and Happy flew out.

"Those idiots."

I changed into my pajamas and did the things I normally do at night. Remove makeup, undo my hair, wash my face, guys are always asking why girls take so long. That's why. Then I brushed my teeth and went to bed.

Third Person POV

While Sting and Natsu walked home, they unexpectedly bumped into each other.

"Sting."

"Natsu."

"Lector?"

"Ugly cat!"
