The Angels Curse

New Town

~After flying for a while Kaycee arrived at a town. Still night time~
"Wow. I haven't been in a town in a while." I said. "It's so pretty, so many lights." I have been flying over the city looking at the lights of the small and tall buildings. I landed on the top of a building. And pulled off the backpack on my back and took out a coat. 'I'll have to wear this while I'm in the town so that I'm not standing out. People have not seen the next generation yet.' I fold back my wings and put on my coat. My coat is bright pink with a pop out dress like skirt on the bottom. I jump off the roof and land on the alleyway next to it. I walk out of the alleyway and look toward the sunset. 'Wow that's so pretty.' I continue to walk down the side walk to a convenient store. I look in the pocket of my jacket to find a 50 dollar bill. I put it back in my pocket and walk out of the store. 'I remember that convenient stores are not trustworthy.' I started to walk down the sidewalk again. I see high school kids walking the opposite way as me. Then I see someone that looks so familiar. She has black hair red sweatshirt and blue jeans. 'Wait Veronica?' I walk up to her "Veronica?" I say to her. "Yeah, who are you?" She replied. "Veronica its me Kaycee." I said trying to convince her. She came to a complete stop. "Kaycee?" She asked. "Yeah?" I replied. "You've been missing for 4 years." She paused. "Where have you been?" I looked at her. "I would have came back sooner if I could." I said. "We'll talk later, do you have a place to stay?" She asked me. "No." I replied. "You can stay with me and my family. I'll asked my mom."
"Ok where is your house." I asked. "Aren't you going to school." Veronica asked. "No I just got here yesterday night."
