It hurts...
The pain of losing the one you once loved.
They can be so close but so far.
Its like reaching up to the sky but never touching the heavens...
It's like placing your hand on the cold skin of the one you love but never feeling the warmth they once had...
It's a cold lifeless feeling....
Then another love comes along...
They care for you.
They give you all that you wanted.
Yet in your mind you refuse to accept it...
You refuse to accept what you wanted most...
And that's when you realize it....
You're becoming the person who once neglected your love..
And in that moment, all you can feel is your heart shatter...
So you stare at the wall.
You let the tears fall down your face.
You loathe them.
You miss them.
You just want to scream at them, and all you can say is....
It hurts...
