After the whole encounter Red was walking through a forest when he heard a crack to his right, he turned in that direction and held his greninja's Pokeball in hand. Upon further inspection he found an odd colored riolu stumbling around, he had to guess it was a newborn. He decided to approach it.

Red proceeded to approach making his presence known as to not scare him but also being gentle, as to not come off as a threat. "Hey little buddy" He gently whispered. The riolu chirped when he saw Red and smiled. "You look like quite the playful one don't you? But where are your parents?" Red asked. The riolu started to look around, and then looked down and gave a sad chirp "Ah, I see, well, how about you come with me" Red continued. The riolu looked up at him with a confused look. "Yeah, I have a small team of other pokemon and I want you in it" Red explained. The Riolu sat thinking for 30 seconds but jumped into his arms hugging him. "Ok ok then it's decided, here, you can use my luxury ball" Red told the Riolu. The riolu fist-bumped the ball with happiness and went inside. Once inside Red let him out and he started jumping and chirping with happiness. "Ok, let's go home"
