'Taehyung's P.O.V'
My eyes wandered around the place until they landed on someone familiar
Sooyeon
Of course it had to be her. I almost laughed to myself because she was practically Jimin in another body just more pathetic. If Jimin was hopelessly, disgustingly in love with my sister, then Sooyeon was worse. At least Jimin still knew how to hide the madness behind his smile. Sooyeon wore hers openly, like obsession was something holy instead of something rotten
Hana still had her back turned, and for once, I prayed she kept it that way
Because people like Sooyeon were dangerous.
The worst ones were quiet. The ones who let their love rot inside them until it turned black and poisonous. The kind that slowly destroyed themselves over someone who would never look at them the same way
Obsession was ugly like that
It starts with soft lingering stares, stolen moments, convincing yourself that maybe one glance meant something more. Then one day you wake up and realize your entire existence revolves around a person who doesn't even notice you're drowning
And the sickest part? you keep drowning anyway
I knew that look in Sooyeon's eyes because I'd seen it before. Seen how people could lose themselves trying to chase something they'll never have. It eats at you slowly, hollowing your insides until there's nothing left except bitterness and desperation
Love wasn't what ruined people wanting someone too much does
girls these days..jeez
I glanced at Sooyeon again, what a dumb position
Amateurs always gave themselves away too easily in situations like this
A smirk tugged at my lips as my fingers brushed against the gun tucked inside my pocket
Meanwhile, beside me, Hana kept rambling completely unaware of the tension thickening around us
"Like I said, you can't just randomly color a dog rainbow!"
I barely reacted
she narrowed her eyes immediately
