Hello, my fluffy bunnies! Sorry I haven't updated in a while! I went on a camping trip I hadn't known about until a few days before we went.......so yeh. -_-

Aaaaaaanyway, have a longish chapter!

Jeff and I sit and talk for a while. At one point, he asks, "So what happened that night? When we found you?"

I sit back.

"How is that related to anything we were talking about?"

"Just curious. And we're talking about you becoming one of us. Knowing just what happened might help."

His logic confuses me a bit, but I shrug and start explaining.

"I was having this big party at my house. My friends and I were just hanging out, it was completely normal."

"Yeah, that turned out well."

"Shut up I'm telling a story."

He laughs. I smack him playfully and continue with my story.

"Some kid came in wearing all green. He seemed nice enough, so I ignored him and went upstairs with one of my friends."

"It was Ben, wasn't it." its more of a statement than a question.

I told you to shut up.

I sigh. "Yeah. It was Ben."

I think back to when he killed Hayley. 'You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?' He had whispered as she died.

I shake my head to clear it.

"He followed us upstairs and killed my best friend. I pretended to be dead as well and he left. I don't remember too much after that......a fire somehow started and I was caught in it. I woke up in some forest being attacked by Rowan and Luna."

"Who?"

"Oh, uh, my wolves."

"I was wondering about them......"

Of course you were.

"I seem to be explaining everything about my life, so why not?" I sigh.

"The white one's Luna. She's calm and friendly. The black one is Rowan. He attacks anything that moves and is very protective. Whichever one is by my side is the one protecting me. The other is guiding me as a spirit."

"Okay.......it changed from Luna to Rowan while you were talking." He notices. I nod, seeing my black wolf beside me. I seem to have calmed down.

"What happens if one of your wolves dies?" Jeff questions.

I freeze. I had never thought about that.

"I suppose the remaining one takes over in spirit. I'll try not to get them killed, so I hopefully won't have to worry about that."

He gets quiet.

"Oh."

Rowan climbs onto my lap and rests his head on my leg. I stroke his ear thoughtfully.

"Alright. It's getting late. Your training continues tomorrow." Jeff gets up with a yawn.

"Night, Jeff."

He nods and closes my door. I lie back, staring at my ceiling. Who knew that a killer could seem so sympathetic? He actually sat and listened to my rambling, also managing to make me feel better. He's actually really nice...

Gah.

I'm making it sound like I LIKE him, which I most certainly don't. That wouldn't make sense. He's a killer that's trying to turn me into a killer as well. I should hate him.
