Chapter 2: Naruto's Date

Naruto's POV

The sun was as bright as it could be. No sign of stakes in the Hidden Leaf. But then this happens...

"Stop!" I cried out stretching my arms and running. Temari glanced in surprise, she didn't stop though.

I can't take it! I had to do it..

I threw a specially made kunai and used my father's jutsu, the 'Hiraishin' (I forgot the english term..please tell me)

Her eyes were full of sorrow she stepped once more and hopped into the air.

-A/N: Pretend this is slow motion≧∇≦-

Once I saw the kunai land, I ran to it.

Turned my head to Temari and tried to grab her hand.

FAIL! She clearly saw my attempt and just smirked pitifully. I can't let this happen.

I made a clone, it held my feet and I jumped and grabbed her hand. This time it was a success.

I rested my eyes on hers while pulling her in but she looked defying. I just gasped and brought her back to the ground.

-A/N: Ok there's no more slow motion-

She was standing on her own two feet now and studied my face, "You..."

I stopped her with my hand, "I'll get going, gomenosai!" my apologetic face appeared causing her to gigggle.

"Just like the old days" she poked my back. I turned my head and let out an awkward foxy grin, "Just like the old days"

I, Naruto Uzumaki, strongly believe that the worse days can become the best ones.

Still remembering the fresh memory I danced to Ichuraku's.

I sat down happily and jotted down my date plan for Sakura in my head.

Just a few moments later Ayame-chan asked me what I want. I inhaled the aroma of my favorite food indulging in it's relaxing scent before replying, "The usual ramen please!"

I was especially happy today so why not spread the joy. "Ah...yes Naruto craving for ramen again, I see" she smiled delightfully

"Yes Ayame-chan and I have a delayed date with Sakura-chan but I'm gonna go to her home again!" I replied not missing a beat. "Okay Naruto, I'll be right back"

In those three minutes came Sakura and Sasuke, "Hey dobe! What are you doing?" my raven-haired friend asked.

I gave him a cheeky grin, "Just chillin!" was my reply. Just then Sakura-chan ran to me, "Naruto are you ready for our date later!" she asked more of a statement rather than a question. I nodded sending her off. It was like she whispered something to Sasuke.

It was something along the lines of 'You take over..I just assured..good mood'

Sasuke came closer to me in his usual Uchiha glare. "Oy Sasuke-teme!" I shouted nicely at least I think so.

He lightened up and pushed me weakly. Ayame-chan gave me the ramen and carried on with her job.

"What brings you to me?" I asked curiously. "I just checked if you were okay" he replied.
