Miranda’s POV
“Oh no.”
“What?” I looked at him.
“Paparazzi. Keep that hat on. Hide your eyes. The flashes are blinding.” Justin worried.
Yeah he’s so cute when he worries. Wait, did I just think that?
Justin parked and got out. He jogged over to my side and opened the door for me, holding his hand out. I grabbed it and got out. He closed it and pulled me into his side.
“Justin! Is that your girlfriend!?”
“Justin, over here!”
“Sweetie, look up!”
“Who is she!?”
“Hey hoe, over here!”
Justin stopped. Oh no.
“What did you just call her!?” He yelled at the paparazzi that said that.
“Justin, it’s okay. Let’s go.” I whispered to him.
“No! I’m not going to pretend that he said that! He needs to learn to be quiet! She is not a hoe! She is far from that! She’s just a sweet girl! She’s beautiful, nice, caring, and amazing! Don’t you dare call her that again! You don’t even know her! Now leave her alone or else you have to deal with me!” Justin yelled at the guy.
The paparazzi started talking more pictures. Justin wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him. We walked quickly inside the building.
“Justin, you didn’t have to do that.” I assured him, looking up at him.
“Yes, I did! He didn’t have the right to call you that! You’re are nothing like that! You’re wonderful, smart, caring, sweet, and so beautiful. You don’t deserve to called any names. I don’t want to see you upset.” He looked in my eyes.
Out of nowhere, he was leaning in. Oh my god! He’s going to kiss me! He was getting closer and closer. His lips met mine and they moved in sync. His lips were so soft and felt perfect on mine. Justin had one hand on my hip and the other on my cheek. Mine were just resting on his chest.
My heart was racing. I got butterflies in my stomach. My legs felt weak like I would just collapse. Thankfully, I didn’t. We were interrupted when someone called Justin’s name. We quickly pulled away and I backed up.I looked up and there stood some guy.
“I’m sorry for interrupting, but Justin, you have to start recording.” The guy said, looking at me.
I looked away and stared at my shoes. This was awkward.
“I’ll uh, be right there.” Justin muttered. The guy nodded and left.
“I’m sorry for that.” He said coming closer.
“Uh, it’s okay.”
“But I did mean every word I said. You are really beautiful and I don’t want to see you upset.”
“Thanks.” I gave him a small smile.
“And I’m sorry about the kiss. I didn’t mean for you to be uncomfortable and make things awkward.”
“It’s okay. I wasn’t uncomfortable. I uh, actually liked it.” I muttered looking down.
Justin put his hand under my chin and lifted it up.
“Would you like to go on a date with me?”
