It was May 29th, 2018. Today was my birthday and my babysister's was three days ago. She lives with my dad's ex-girlfriend so I haven't had the chance to see her nor did I have the time because of how hard I was working. Going back and forth with college and stripping is hard. I've had to do everything ever since my dad died because my mom starting fucking with cocaine and weed, and been too focused on getting her pussy popped than worrying about getting a job to provide for her and her daughter. I wasn't fazed though. Been dealing with it for years.

"Nia!"

I jumped to the sound of my bestfriend screaming in my ear.

"Fuck you screaming for?" I yelled.

"You doing that shit again. Where you zone out and have inner monologues and shit." She scoffed.

She was right though. I haven't stopped doing that since Zach bitch ass cheated on me. Guess it became a habit.

"Nialys."

I looked up and saw Diamond with her hands on her hips, eyeing me down. She was way taller than me, I was 5'0 and she was 5'5. About all my friends were taller than me.

"Yes?" I said sweetly.

"You need to focus on how you gon' get into college babe. You can't stay at my place forever."

"I am focused."

"No you're not Nialys. You need to let go of this fucking stripper job."

Diamond was really pissing me off at this point. I'm tired to people telling me shit I already know.

"Listen," I said while getting up from my chair. "I'm perfectly fine with how my life is going right now. So how about you worry about college, chica."

I left her there looking stupid. I didn't mean to snap at her, but she knows I got a bad temper. My attitude is off the chain but I honestly can't control it.

She ran up to me and grabbed my arm. "Nialys. Quit it the fuck out." I glared at her with a 'nigga i wish you would' look.

"Can you take your hands off me?" I asked impatiently.

She took her hands off me and crossed her arms. "Nia, is this about Zach? You have to move on." Ugh. This girl was really pissing me off. I love her but she doesn't know when to leave people alone or give people personal space.

"I'm over Zach. How about you go home and pick me up at 9:45? I won't be done until later on tonight."

"Yeah. Whatever. Text me when you finished, man." She said as she walked out the door.

I sighed, sitting back down on the stool at the mini bar. "Lemme' get your strongest drink." I said to the bartender.

"Rough night?" He asked.

"Yeah, you could say that." I said exhaling loudly.

I was watching him make my drink. He was very talented, it seems like he been working behind the counter for awhile. The way he flipped and turned things was kinda turning me on...

"Aye, lemme' get a bottle of whiskey."

I turned my head to see a fine dime sitting on the stool next to me. Hot-diggity damn, this man was fine! Jet black hair, big green emerald eyes and cotton soft lips. His eyelashes were long and you could see his dimples peeking as he ordered his drink. Nice, sharp eyebrows and a defined jawline. And he was muscular... I found myself getting hot.
