I kept crying for what seem like hours when I hear my window open, i quickly look at the intruder surprised to see Scott's best friend Derek, without saying a word he hugs me and I can't help but hug him back, his smell was intoxicating I bury my face on the crock of this neck and start to calm down when I feel his gentle breath on mine.
After a couple of minutes he finally talks

- better Mi? - I just nod

I look at what his wearing he was wearing grey sweatpants and a white shirt he didn't have any shoes on.

- how did you ..? - I couldn't finish wen he answered
- I saw you crying from my room - I look to see his window directly in front of mine. - here let's lay down a bit - after a couple of minutes i fell a sleep, probably one of the best sleep I have had for the past 3 years of my life,

The next day derek quickly gets out trough my window and I see him clime the fence and the window of this room waiving at me from his room I can't help but wave back, at school everything stayed the same the sweet and caring Derek became my annoying brothers best friend.

The night after that I woke up crying from nightmares again and heard my window open Derek just jumped into my bed and comforted me making all my night mares go away.

After one week of me waking up and Derek coming in he started to come before we went to sleep and that was out during for the past 8 years.
