Alexus' POV It was the day of Melo and, i's date and he was taking me to this fancy restaurant Iris was over helping me pick out what to wear "Girl, get in the shower so that you won't be late" she says pushing me towards my bathroom door handing me a towel I do my normal routine and use my fancy soap that i only use on special occasion I hop out of the shower and iris has a cute ass dress laid out for me "Put it on!" she says excitedly Iris isn't very girly but when she gets dressed up she goes all out She showed me her prom pictures and it was hard to believe it was her I put on the dress and looked in the mirror

"GIRLL YOU LOOK BOMB" Iris said showing me off on her snap "Damn Iris u hooked me uppp" i say sticking my tounge out laughing "Alright, Melos downstairs so get your ass down there" iris says pushing me towards the door "I'm nervous bro" i say slipping on my shoes "You'll be good" she says trying to make me less stressed "Ok, wish me luck" i say smiling like an idiot I walk down the stairs to see Melo talking to my dad They hadn't noticed me yet "Hey Lex" my dad says making Melos attention turn to me His eyes grew wide I smiled at both of them "Hey" i say "Y'all two have fun okay!" my Dad says dapping up Melo Melo holds the door open for me and closes it behind us when we get outside "I didn't wanna say this in front of your pops but damn you look sexy" he says opening his door for me "Thank you LaMelo" i say laughing "You don't look too bad yourself" i say to him as he gets in the drivers seat "Thank you mamas" he says grabbing my hand pulling out of my driveway I smile wide I snap a picture of us at a red light and post it on instagram

We got there after 20 minutes and, it as fancy as hell im shook "This is so nice" i say as our food comes "Yeah, i know my dad took my mom here for their first date" he says making me smile wide because, i must mean a lot to him "Big baller got game" i said making him laugh hard "Yeah, that's where i get it from" he said popping his collar on his polo "Whatever bro" i say pushing him playfully "Nah but real talk, you look amazing" he says making me smile hard "Thank youu" i say reaching across the table to kiss him on the cheek "So what your plans for this year with basketball and, everything?" i ask him making him look up from his food "Well i'm playing in the JBA until- if i get drafted which means a lot of traveling so, yea i'm excited" he says causing me to look down and nod "What's wrong?" he asks worriedly "Nun, it's just... what's gonna happen with 'us'" i say using air quotes "You should come! School boutta be over and your fam can come and, stay in the house or hotel room with my fam" he says making me smile and nod "They'd love that" i say making him smirk "I have a question" Melo says hesitantly "Wassup" i say giving him my full attention "Will you be my girdfriend?" he asks nervously I smile and nod at him excitedly
We spent time at the restaurant for another hour and at around 8 we left He pulled my chair out for me as i got up He held my hand as we walked out We walked to his car hand in hand as he opened the door for me We hopped in "I had an amazing time with you Melo" i say smiling at him "I had an amazing time with you Lexi" he says kissing my hand
