She woke up at eight. What time had she fallen asleep? All she remembered of the night before was talking with her friends. Or was that the night before? She couldn't tell, she didn't seem to care as she stood up, out of bed and went to the kitchen to take her pills, or vitamins rather, just in the shape of pills. She hated how this was a daily thing for her. The doctor said it would help but nothing seems to be getting better. It all just seems to be going backwards if you ask her. But nobody did, there was no one around her enough to have even noticed the change. None of them asked, and she didn't bother to tell. She threw on a coat and headed out her front door, her head immediately hurting from the bright light of the morning sun. Her name was Zenobia Adamaris and she wouldn't let small migraines stop her from her everyday activities. Her one close friend had invited her to a ball tonight, more like threatened that if she didn't go to the ball her friend would burn all her books. Books. That's right. She had to buy and assemble a new bookshelf today. That could wait though. She had been spying on the palace to see what they were up to nowadays and had secretly been making their lives easier for them. Dispatch one assassin here, find some files there, really it was all child's play. But she did it. She did it with hopes that if the palace ever did find her they would excuse her of the past crimes she herself had committed, yes, Zenobia Adamaris was a well known name in the kingdom of Kraseon. And there was a high as all hell bounty over her head for the first person to turn her into the king. Perhaps that was why she had no one to talk to most of the time, she had to lie low. Oh well.

"Hey!" shouted a familiar female voice behind her in which she whirled around to find her friend, Shoftiel. "What are you doing out and about so early? You never rise until around noon."

"While I would have loved to sleep in today, I found another palace assignment that I can make easier for the lazy bums that call themselves soldiers." Shoftiel laughed at that, basically everyone who wasn't noble or close to the palace found easily insulting names to call those who were closely tied to the palace.

"Well, just make sure you look nice for the ball tonight, I don't want you showing up there looking like you just woke up and making a fool of yourself."

"Got it, you won't have to worry about that."

"Cya tonight Zenobia." And then she was gone, before Zenobia could even say her own goodbye.

Sighing, Zenobia continued walking to the location of the woman the palace was looking for today. If there was a definition of the word oblivious, Shoftiel was it. Out of how many people who knew Zenobia Adamaris, Shoftiel had no clue what her friend had done in the past. Walking up to the house, she instantly noticed it had an off feeling to it. Far too quiet. Perhaps this one was better left off to the soldiers after all, nevertheless, Zenobia hopped onto the roof of the building, laid flat on her stomach and put her ear to the concrete. Nothing. Not even a subtle shift on the floor to be heard. It was unusual. Knowing the best option was to go back now, that's exactly as Zenobia did.

The streets too cold for the light coat she had put on this morning, Zenobia strode her way back home after just a little bit of shopping, once she reached her fine manor She threw on a slightly heavier coat and a cloak over top of that. Still a few hours before the ball and nothing to do. Zenobia knew she couldn't just loiter around her manor, for she hated the place. She hated every spacious and luxurious inch of it. None of it felt right. She always hated luxury, it wasn't her thing, she loved to rough it and play the game of survival, so she strode right out of the manor and back onto the streets.

Having walked the streets up until there was only an hour left before the ball, all she wanted to do now was sleep, but she changed into her ball gown. More luxury, tonight would be all about luxury she assumed and she just bit back the survival style in her for the rest of the night. Zenobia now walked to the place where the ball was being held which was uncomfortably close to the castle, but she hid her discomfort with a plastered on smile as she met back up with Shoftiel and seeing a guy she's come across a couple of times, his name was Keithan if she remembered correctly.
