The next day they all slept in, exhausted from last night's events. They didn't bother to take a break from the pressing matters as there was absolutely no time to waste, the sooner the better. As they ate breakfast, they began the first and basic steps of planning.
"So, I supposed neither of you have much of a clue of what we're doing, correct?" Zenobia more asked, than stated, boredly.
"Nope." Keithan confirmed.
"Alright, well we want to start with getting out of this city, while this estate may be well guarded and the least suspected, you never know who's listening and when." Zenobia started, to which Keithan and Shoftiel nodded to. "So, after we're out of the city and as far on the downlow as we can possibly get, we need to find allies. The three of us are powerful, well, you two will become powerful, but we're not enough for the task at hand"
"You're the one and only Zenobia Adamaris! What are you talking about "not enough"? If anyone could do this job alone, it's you, and you're not even alone!" Shouted Shoftiel excitedly.
"Okay, first of all, keep it down, ya know, not everyone knows my identity. And second of all, yes, that's true, I could do this job alone, but it would take twice the time and be twenty times as deadly. So, we need allies. Training will be at night, planning half of the day, and sleep time is the other half of the day. We'll start on that schedule tomorrow. I want to hear absolutely no complaints of fatigue. Got it?" Zenobia explained thoroughly and firmly, but not rudely nor harshly as these were her friends.
"You'll work us to death." Keithan stated.
"You two are lucky I'm giving you time to sleep. Do you think I got to be this great by just sitting around most of my days? No, I trained nineteen hours a day. Now, do the math and tell me again that I'll work you to death." She defended herself in that method of thinking because of how stretched on time they were.
"Alright, maybe you won't work us to death, but still, we don't need to be the best, we just need to be good enough not to die." He wasn't wrong, but he wasn't right either.
"Let's just start brainstorming places to go." Zenobia said flatly, rolling her eyes.
"Mailbu! I've always wanted to visit Malibu" Exclaimed Shoftiel.
"Shoftiel, you may be my best friend, but you're a horrible criminal. We'll go to the outskirts, and before you guys mention how I said that we needed out of town, yes I said that, but we also need to be able to keep an eye on the government." Zenobia then just wound up explaining exactly where they need to go in order to be sure they Keithan and Shoftiel didn't make any bad living choices. That day they made the move. The day after that, their journey began.
